Hoping to go somewhere in about 2 weeks problem is we live in NY and mototown just collapsed blue diamonds only about 5 hours and says they are open all year round? How would that track be in about two weeks or any other tracks about 5 hours from NY and snowless we could go to? Cool

I'd call them first before hauling the bike down there. They are open weather permitting. But the 10 day has a warming trend the next week or so. Hopefully it stays that way!

Alright cool thanks! It's more towards the end of the month hopefully we go down it will be the 24th and 25th which will most likely be warmer.

Blue Diamond is a good track, there are some videos of Barcia and Jlaw riding, MWoz did some good stuff there!, like he said, call before you haul! Also NEMX and Splitrail are in ohio, maybe alittle further than you want to drive, they are indoor tracks. Better than nothing IMO.

Really cool track, fun to ride. Weather can be pretty decent down there when it's gnarly up here. Rode there Thanksgiving weekend and it was awesome. Best thing for me is my buddy bought a house literally 3 miles away, if the wind is right you can hear the track from his back porch! Headed down to ride 1st or 2nd weekend in March. But as everyone says, call first, it get's pretty cold and windy some days down there.

Just got off the phone with those guys @ Blue Diamond. They said that there's no way they'll be open this weekend, but if the weather holds, should be good for next weekend.

yea it got cold here the last couple of days and i think they might have gotten clipped by alittle snow the other day. Should be in the 40's this weekend/ mid week but still looks like freezing temps at night. Was thinking of heading to easton mx, this weekend but i think the weathers almost the same down there to.

Definitly call before rolling down there! Awesome track, but it does not hold up to wet conditions AT ALL! A lot of the snow and ice we got is still covered in a lot of areas, probably the track too. That would mean horrible sloppy conditions once it thaws. Its usually closed.

I recommend trying Middleford Speedway in Seaford, DE. Sand track and a lot of fun! Popular place to hit after bad weather.

Middleford Speedway (Seaford) is closed. I was hoping to go there also. Just have to wait another week. They are calling for 50 on Thursday so hopefully this cold snap is behind us!

If your southbound, try tomahawk mx park also, call first, easton mx, Hope the weather cooperates with your plans, I have some friends heading to Duramtown mx in georgia also! Heard good things about Mammoth mountain in alabama also. Have fun, be safe

Seaford is no more. They expanded their short track onto the MX track last month. So Seaford/Middleford Speedway is out.

Check the weather before coming down here. I'm in southern Georgia and the weather has not been good for riding in the last month. Lot of days rainy and in the 40's. Been cold and rainy,except for a day here and there. Not worth the expense of coming south to ride. Keep an eye on the weather. It's supposed to get better soon,but check it out beforehand.

Easton should be good. Were all heading there on Sunday for sure. Weathers been decent, and its gonna be a lot warmer by this weekend (50 on Sunday).. Anyhow, they are open Fri, Sat, Sun this week and by Sunday the dirt should be worked in by then
