My boys both broke their 16 and 20e stacyc’s a couple days ago. What are 7-9 year olds riding to play around on that is a little more robust? There is about 100 different small e-bikes out there. What’s better than the Stacyc but not a 110? Anyone have some insight?
My 10 year old cousin has an Etm rtr lite and loves it.
We've had pretty good luck with Voltaic flying fox, they make a 16,18, and 20 inch version. My sone has had the 18 inch version for 2 years and from flat landings to mtb trails it's been great. He broke his stacyc 16 multiple times and the last time broke the 90° gear and burned up the emc board. Only thing I've replaced on the flying fox is the rear tire.
Having a look at the Voltaic website, their stuff seems overpriced for what it is..

Apart from the fork it seems like the same bike as a Apollo RXF 16"
Which is less than half the price of the Voltaic 16", even in Norway at 350 usd ... Great little Staycyc copies in general, but get the cheap one as its the same bike if anyone is thinking of buying one..

Xero2 flea if you can find one. I really wish I would have bought a few when they were available.
I thought that said $3,499 lol
Full disclosure I work for E&C, but for a kid the RTR Lite or Sport is probably your best value for money.
Perhaps even more importantly though we offer full OEM parts support just like you would get from a Japanese brand. We have labeled exploded views with part numbers for every single component on the bike, which is something that no other manufacturer has that I'm aware of. If you think you may hop on the bike and rip around occasionally it may be better to go with the Sport model since the power can still be tamed down for kids, but if it's just the kids riding it the Lite will probably be better since the suspension is more tailored to younger riders.
