Haven't followed the Canadian series for a few years but remember he used to have a reputation for being very quick and a bit of a crasher. Has that changed? And has he ever shown any interest in trying the pro nationals in the US or the GPs?

Changed his riding style. Doesn't crash much, more patient with his moves.

He said he wants to do a full US National season. Whether that will happen or not, who knows. Probably going to race the last two this year.

Interest in both series. Money was too far apart for the GPs.

Wey DNF Moto 2. Cross rutted and went over the bars. Crawled off to the side of the track.

Good thing too. I was genuinely getting concerned for both his and Pettis' health last year. That's what it looks like when someone would rather die than let the other guy win. And Phil ran up the middle of the wreckage.

Last year was a weird one for both of them. Going to be interesting to see where Phil slots in this year at Deschambault.

It's true that Dylan has a tendancy to push it over his limit and crash, but it was hardly on him last year. They had so much problem with fuel and gas tank that most of his crash were the result of his bike cutting out. Pettis is out and Kulas seems to be a step behind on speed so it should be relatively easy to not push it over the edge. It's not like he never won a championship or had a perfect season after all.

As a Finn (Kullas has dual citizenship, Estonia and Finland) who roots for Kullas, it's a bit of a bummer that Kullas is a tick off Wright. I guess it was to be expected since he is racing these tracks for the first time ever.

Heading to a few sandy tracks - should suit him. HK mentioned he wasn't feeling well yesterday.

I'll check later to double check what he said, but after the the second moto he said something along the lines of he could only keep up with Wright for a few laps and then had no energy. Also mentioned something about not feeling well this week.

Edit:

Kullas:

Yeah, I just had nothing left in me. I'm really, really tired. Something's off a little bit. I was feeling quite tired at the end of the week, so I could try to stay with Dylan for 2-3 laps and that's it. I had to slow down and settle for second, pretty much. I had a good start in the second one, but I had a chance to go with Dylan but didn't have it in me today. Yeah, second again.

I’ve actually been impressed with HK’s speed. He’s been right there on lap times with Wright and Pettis, and I expected him to be a more distant third. With Pettis out, he’s the only guy that has a shot at Dylan in any way. If Harri wasn’t there, Dylan could start backwards with no gear on and still win every moto.
