What a bastard of a bit of damage!

I don't know how the bolts head / flange sits in relation to the mounts lower section, and the arc in the higher section.

As in, is it now further apart than you'd see as std?

Perhaps the mount hole has been 'stretched' as well as the bend to the tabs? I'd be surprised if that's not the case. The shoulder of the bolt, is HARD, the Aluminium, isn't remotely so, by comparison.

When / if you try to use heat to straighten the tabs ( top one looks bent in further than the bottom), You'd need to be very careful.

I would try machining up a round bar from steel,, as large a diameter as the inside face allowed, but without a sharp outer edge to it,  that you could use on the inside of the mount, that you'd do up, after / while you are applying heat. Giving a slow pull / compression to the mount.

Or you could make a flat bar, that you couture to the inside of the mount, and very, very carefully try to straighten it after / whilst applying heat . You'd want to localize the flame, of course

This is with me having no personal knowledge of the casting.

But caution , gentleness is The Thing. It will be Very, Very easy to break the mount off.

Then again, it might be quite malleable alloy, and require no heat, and just take a simple 'tweak'..

But, Aluminium, especially cast, does not take kindly to being bent , and the re-bent back.

To repeat, a bastard of a bit of damage, and, the cost of a new MC.

I would be prepared for the event that mounting tabs break-off during an attempt to straighten them.   Cast aluminum does not like to be rebent.  It may make sense to find a machine shop that works with cast aluminum and is capable of welding it.

X3 on re-bending those tabs being risky. I'd maybe even run the new master cylinder in the current position, if the swingarm will clear and the brake pedal isn't binding up because of an angle.

I wouldn't try to bend the tabs back either if it isn't necessary. They'll absolutely break.

Have another look at the OP's picture.

See the damage to the MC , where it is hitting the swingarm ( see the gouges in the SA at the weld)as it arcs through?

Addressing the subsequent positioning of the MC, Is Necessary.

Yup, I'd be very surprised if the tabs do not break, but I put up suggestions that may help in it not happening.

I've done repairs when the tabs are gone - fiddly, as you are trying to put on quite tiny tabs made from plate, while you are trying to make it look like a near factory finish. And that's a lot of work, for what people will think is a Tiny job.

If the tabs have to be replaced, a strip could be used rather than tiny tabs. It would be easier to position and handle. Then, after welding is complete, the unnecessary bits can be removed and the tabs drilled/reshaped as needed.
