Serious question, how do you know he’s a tweaker? Other then the strange people, crazy behavior, and RV’s in the backyard. Have you ever seen him use any narcotics or seen any left over drug paraphernalia on or around his property? You ever see him purchase speed?

I’m asking because as you mentioned his mania comes and goes in waves, and he has money. Perhaps he actually suffers from a mental health disorder, is undiagnosed, or not taking his psych meds, etc?

Either way, tweaker or mentally ill, I do pray that you and your family stay safe and stress free as possible.

I’ve always had horrible luck with neighbors. I’m generally really nice to people and try to be friends with everyone, so it sucks cus I’ve had neighbors who seem nice and then try take advantage of me.

Just moved to a new state and a neighbor in the apartment across there driveway is an older disabled man. Disabled as in overweight which caused other implications. I was nice to him for a couple weeks until I noticed a laser shining into my window one night. I ignored and it and figured I would confront him when I saw him again.

A week later it happens again when m sitting at my desk on the phone. I proceeded to walk outside and cuss him out pretty much telling him to fuck off as he stood in his window.

I was like, dude that’s not cool, who the fuck shines a laser in someone’s window??!!? Blink Angry Laughing

Well my best friends sisters brother is a tweaker and is always over there, he looks like a tweaker, hangs out with tweakers, bums that hang at the off ramp are always walking to his house, dude with head and face tattoos that are known gang members, they’re up at all hours of the night yelling and making a racket. What more evidence do you need? He might also be mentally ill from being a tweaker, or he’s already crazy and does drugs also

Ok, was just making sure. Sounds like you’re a court certified drug recognition expert (DRE) and could actually testify your expertise in court based off what you said.

A combination of mental illness and drug addiction, such as meth-induced psychosis, is very difficult to manage. With many mental institutions and psychiatric hospitals closed, they unfortunately make their way into the criminal justice system, or get placed on 72 hour 5150 holds, but this won’t help you long term. The best thing to do is go to court and get a protective order against him. If he violates the order you could have him arrested, but he won’t likely serve much time and you’ll be right back at square one once he gets released. It would just end up being a viscous cycle of arrests and releases, but hopefully he just stops harassing you guys, and everything is resolved without further incidents.

Oh and btw, And your response reminded me of this scene from Friday...

It’s funny you say that lol because I grew up with a close family member being horribly addicted to pain pills and then moved on to meth when I turned 16 and it even spearheaded into me having to have him come and be arrested so he wouldn’t die and could get a few days in jail clean. So I can literally tell what kind of pills almost exactly just by talking to them. Also my best friend became addicted to meth and heroin and I saw him very closely slide out of control and even when he said he wasn’t doing anything I could tell if he was loaded or spun out at all. Can’t get anything by me lol, I’ve actually considered going into some sort of law enforcement or be a probation officer of some sort, I’ve done every drug myself my very fair share but I’ve never done either of the two big no no drugs, seen a lot of normal people lose their shit long term.

Heard them screaming (the tweakers two doors up) at each other today, now they have the place lit up like a ufo is landing.

So I have an update but unrelated to the tweakers, so this is a long story that leads up to this, short version is that my dad, his girlfriend and grandmother live in the front house on our property, me and my girlfriend and our dogs live in the back house, my grandma hates my girlfriend for no reason, she hates me also for no reason, the dogs too, the reason she hates us is because of her own mental illness and is unfortunate. So for years she’s been feeding these cats in the neighborhood, strays, and she’s always telling my aunt over the phone about “those dam dogs”. So here’s where the story takes a twist, my aunt has discovered she has a large brain tumor, and is slowly going insane, she has been calling the police of her home town saying that she thinks the “neighborhood watch” is abducting cats, neighborhood watch isn’t a real thing, those are just signs the city puts up.. she also called saying she thinks people are after her. So a few days ago she called the police of my home town, saying I have vicious dogs that are terrorizing the stray cats and that they’re a danger to society, no one ever ended up showing up but it was still very stressful thinking that animal control could come asking questions and who knows what she’s got cooking up in her head... the messed up thing is I can’t even be mad because she’s terminally ill and this isn’t like her...it’s the brain tumor she has making her act this way... who else does this happen to?? Anyone?

I feel like I’m on the dam Truman show !! 🎃👀

Nothing, no one came, she’s insane and making it all up, and they can tell just by listening to her over the phone, same goes for her 911 calls at home, she lives in a completely different city than us

Yes, well it’s such a good deal on rent here that I’d be stupid to go elsewhere where I’d pay four times the amount for the same situation, two bed two bath with a three car garage with a very large yard. It’s been fine for the past 8 years with my grandmother and father at the other end of the property, she has the beginning signs of dimentia and her “villain” unfortunately is my girlfriend, that’s something we all just work around and try not to do anything to piss her off (wich is everything) like a few years ago I started the rule of shutting the gate, everyone left it wide open, no big deal, but next thing you know granny is cussing us out for leaving the gate open. I don’t play into it because she’s losing it, but the thing with my aunt, who lives in a different city, losing her mind is pretty twisted and I’m not sure how I feel about it, pretty wild

Haven’t heard a peep from the tweaker, we’re getting new neighbors and apparently he knows him from school days (small town) and is also friends with out old neighbor, hopefully he can tell the guy to quit tripping, he may have already, but he goes in a few week cycles. Gets all cranked up, stays up a few days to a week til he’s hallucinating, lays low for a few days probly sleeping, does it again and then about once every three months he goes looney and gets arrested and restarts the program.

On a side note one of my old co workers got electricuted down the street from my house at a job site and died today, went on a walk with the dogs and walked over to snoop on all the commotion w the ambulances and asked a lady what happened, and she said a handyman got electricuted and died, and pointed, turned around and it was edwins work van sitting there, I was working for an hvac company as an installer and they would sub out a lot of work to the handyman, didn’t know him too well but still a punch to the gut

Protection order for sure, this way if things go sideways you've got a record of trying to handle things peacefully.

Sometimes you do what needs doin though.

Haven’t heard a peep from the tweaker, we’re getting new neighbors and apparently he knows him from school days (small town) and is also friends with out old neighbor, hopefully he can tell the guy to quit tripping, he may have already, but he goes in a few week cycles. Gets all cranked up, stays up a few days to a week til he’s hallucinating, lays low for a few days probly sleeping, does it again and then about once every three months he goes looney and gets arrested and restarts the program.

On a side note one of my old co workers got electricuted down the street from my house at a job site and died today, went on a walk with the dogs and walked over to snoop on all the commotion w the ambulances and asked a lady what happened, and she said a handyman got electricuted and died, and pointed, turned around and it was edwins work van sitting there, I was working for an hvac company as an installer and they would sub out a lot of work to the handyman, didn’t know him too well but still a punch to the gut

The douche bag that lived next to me died.

My dogs haven't been hurt since, and I didn't have to shoot anyone. 

Man, that was close too.
