Super nice bike, sounds like it's found an owner that will really appriciate it.

One thought though, who made that pipe. Looks like an outrigger on the right side. Love the cone pipes though.,

I have never seen a pipe like on the CR before. It wraps around the other side of the bike.

Roost factory (FMF's name for a few years after Donny E got divorced) marketed a boost bottle....or as I recall they called it a Roost Bottle back then.

We are starting to make silicone radiator hoses for the older discontinued parts as there is demand. We are in the process of making 88/89 CR250 right now.

Same thoughts on the pipe. How the heck do you keep from ruining it. To the guy with the 82 CR, you might want to think about ditching the DG pipe and checking in to see if ProForm makes a pipe for you.

that pipe is pure sex appeal, it is true workmanship of a craft we don't see any more, todays pipe building is more like plumbing.
