I was listening to JTs podcast and he was mentioning how nick romano used to battle jett reynolds in amateurs and nicks really excelling in his second chance and it made me think where is jett? I remember he went to club and was getting some decent results last year on his own second chance. His last post on ig is from january of him riding a stock kawi saying hes going in to wrist surgery so id guess no more club? Is he coming back this year for mx? Id hate to see that hes finally out of the sport I feel like last year was a good building year but looks like he got hurt again. Anyone know whats going on is he coming back?
I thought I heard that he was taking the year off to get fully healthy and then going to reevaluate on if he wants to keep racing. Maybe there were no other good options for rides for him too.
Ok that would make sense. I’m not sure what the wrist injury was so not sure how long it will take to heal but hopefully we see him line up for sx. Maybe a year off is what he needs.
He did take the year off to get healthy, and I've heard he's reaching out to some teams about 2027 now.
He is at home trying to heal up completely so hes 100 percent ready for the first time in years . Id like to see him and Ryder D on the same team in the future so they could train together likee they did as kids ..They were pretty much unbeatable until they both started getting hurt and no longer rode together everyday .

Yea the injuries just keep compounding once you have one. Hope to see him next year!
Who knows, maybe he could be the Nick Romano story next year. Always root for these guys!

I wonder if he’s riding? If he’s putting the feelers out there, he needs to pull a Nick Romano and stay on a bike and be ready if he does get a call from a team.
Always really like the kid, hope he finds a ride for next year. the sport is better with him in it
Crazy talented and likable guy, I hope that he is able to put the injuries behind him and show what he’s capable of.
