Did you get it to run ok in the end or did you have to change the pipe?.
I'm also heard that the fork isn't up to par with the floater rear suspension and i read that the Gold valve cartridge emulator from race tech could help.

So i had to look up how big a 11/16" drill bit is, and it's 17,4mm.
Thatsa a big drill!!
Must be something wrong there.
Or could someone else try that mod and let me know ;-)
I have to look in my old MXA magazines and see if there is a correction on that article.
Suspension and chassis are great on the thing. Motor is all I have to mess with. I had a Race Tech buddy do the shock and emulators for the forks.

Would a 500cc cylinder fit the 465 cases?
Or is it just asking for troubles...
I thought about doing that back in 83.
The late Bob Elliot gave me a diagram of what needed to be removed when I was going to Suzulki's Mechanics School in Brea, Jan 83. Basically just have to match the 465's cases to the 500's base gasket.
Hope this helps!

SWEET looking project bike!
Pit Row
I have to think about that, i think i´ll start with matching and cleaning the ports.

Might have gone to look at it except the dog decided to eat a sock and ended up needing emergency surgery. Oops, there goes the entire 2012 moto budget and then some!
I don't really want to order one and find out it won't work.
Thanks, any help is appreciated.
