We all know Manny is the best hard enduro rider in the world, but it’s so impressive how close he is in terms of speed to guys like Verona and Sanders.
Wow. I think Jonny was kinda hot miked by Trystan, bad mouthing Triumph.
Fast forward to about 19:19.
The whole chatter between those top guys was pretty interesting to hear. (starting at 11:20). I dont think Jonny realized he is being recorded lol, he indeed seems to be pretty pissed off damn. Thought he is happy there
If the 2 rally guys who qualified at the top don't line up for the main race, Carson Brown will be the #1 qualifier. That's pretty incredible. On a rental bike.

Yeah Jonny didn't realise it was being recorded and I'd be surprised if Trystan had realised the comments were on there, he's a good guy.
Just goes to show the realities of 'factory' rides I guess. I don't think Triumph would have hired an enduro rider had Jonny not been available and so I don't think they were ever that serious about hard enduro.
Yeah this is how the guys talk with each other, people would be really surprised how many riders feel about things. That said it should have been cut out.
I never really got the story on why exactly Jonny left Factory KTM? He was hauling ass on KTM, also winning Erzberg in 2014 in pretty dominant fashion
I don't know why either, as you say he was hauling at that time. I think it might have just been general corporate budget cuts. And like it seems with Triumph, his bike only deal with Beta was because he became available rather than Beta actually wanting a super/hard enduro rider.
Jonny has been one of the best off road riders of his generation but his rides haven't matched his talent or results.
He did it last year too. Not many, if any, of the top “fast” offroad guys actually race the hard enduro. Most will do the prologues then spectate for the main event.
I hope he's been training for this. It'd be cool to see him progress further than last year. Remember when Pastrana and McGrath raced on a RM250 and a CR250 in 2006? I wish more moto guys would go give it a shot. Although, in 06 it was "easier" than it is now.
Tomac said a few weeks ago on Pulp that it is his dream to race Erzberg one day. So im sure we will see him some time after he retires from pro mx/sx racing there!
He didn't leave Factory KTM, he was fired. Johnny had a big stretch of getting hurt year after year when he was expected to win.
Yeah, I wasnt trying to say it was his choice, just didnt know. Crazy that KTM made him leave man
Apparently he crashed on the first prologue run. He should be starting on the 2nd row for the main race.
He started on the 2nd row last year too and finished 8th.
Livestream has started: Red Bull Erzbergrodeo Livestream
Race starts in about 15 minutes!
So we don't expect Sanders to line up for the race?
He's not lined up.
Pit Row
1.Many, 2. Brightmore, 3. Hart, 4. Walker
Jarvis already inside the top 50 lead group
For some reason Brown is not inside the top 200. It seems like he didnt even line up?
Jarvis 22nd!
Insane.
Lettenbichler untouchable again. 5 times in a row. Crazy
Graham's gonna finish!
Congratulations Trystan on the 2nd place finish; takes a lot of heart to keep pushing like that.
Anyone know what happened to Carson brown?
I’m excited to see Ryder Leblond finish this year. And with less than a minute remaining!
Me too, it was soooo close. He must be well stoked.
He wasnt on the starter list for today. I thought maybe its a mistake, but he didnt make it into checkpoint 1 either. Maybe it wasnt his plan to start the main race after all
