Maybe one of the best moto images I've ever taken, pity the top of Hunters helmet was cut-off. Never got images this sharp with my Pentax cameras

One tip: increase the shutter speed, at least 1/1200, you can't go wrong.

If you want to get better and produce professional images with your setup it's very easy:

  1. Based on what I see you are all over the place in M mode and not doing yourself any favors.  Set/forget M mode with SS between 1/1600th-1/2500th, AUTO ISO, and only thing you'll change is your aperture which can be anywhere between f/2.8-f/5. Let the camera control the exposure with adjusting ISO for you, this is why I'm suggesting Auto ISO.  You are not doing well controlling SS and exposure on your own so start with Auto ISO and let the camera do the work for you until you learn, and you can go to full manual some day when you have everything else dialed in.  I promise all your images will at least be sharp if you start with the above.
  2. Composition - shooting down is usually not going to look good as you can see with your results.  Get down at eye level and shoot the guys eye to eye, and try to line them up with a distant background if possible.  This is where the magic happens, vs shooting your subject against a wall or berm.
  3. Shoot tight, but leave enough room that you are not always cutting off parts of the rider.
  4. Try to shoot at the long end of your 70-200mm.  More magic on the long end if you can create depth behind the rider.
