Pala 450 Over / Under perform or to expectations

Marchbanks- crash with Eli in first moto screwed his day but great in qualifying and solid ride from behind in 2nd moto. 

Shimoda rode well but put himself in bad positions 

I know it’s tough to say Jett when he landed on the podium but that was a very shaky day. At least we finally have something to gauge moving forward. Also tough to say but Eli looked off all day and made it like 30 seconds into race one. 

AP looked better than I expected since he was a huge question mark coming into it. 

Prado appears to the real deal..

Kawi the biggest loser in more ways than one.

How much do you reckon Joe and Levi might pay up front for a top 6 start!!!

Lord, they make life difficult for themselves, but also being a dreadful starter, I feel their frustration!

Expected more from Davies in 250s and Barcia in 450s.  Dudney performed, will be interesting to see if he can keep this up.

Lot of Low/High moto finishes across both motos for few guys that you'd expect more from, and that seemed to mix things up quite a bit.

450 - Jett under performed. (Hate saying that, I just assume he is always ready to win). 

Deegan underperformed. 

Sexton looked ok. I guess a par. 

Hunter and Prado as expected. 

Justin Cooper as expected. 

I low key always think the Dylan who won the title might show up. So no he under performed.

250 - Hammaker - Thought he should be there. Been thinking that for a bit. Not surprised. But am surprised he actually put the two motos together. 

JuJu the biggest surprise. I am so happy for him. 

Kitchen did what he does sadly. 

Honda boys under performed. 

Davies was better than i thought. I was hoping 

Minnear would be better. His moto 2 pace was decent. But i thought he had more.

One of my biggest surprises was how well Hampshire rode after a long layoff. 

Was expecting much better results from Shimoda and Hymas. 

I know many people expected Prado to podium. I had him pegged for a holeshot and fade to 5-6th. Nice to see him get 2 solid motos. 

Deegan was a toss up for me. In my fantasy picks across several leagues I had him right where he finished. I also wouldn’t have been surprised if he had won both motos. 

Agree about Prado.

He seemed extremely happy after the race. 

Could be Hunter's biggest problem all season.

Holding back impressions until they race a real track. Pala just seems to be wide open with everyone doing the same lines so hard to get an opinion of how they will do for the remaining races

Under:
Jett. Still was a solid ride but if this is how he does the rest of the season he's not gonna beat his brother. Also after hearing his comments about how he has to adjust his riding and that he got armpump first moto I'm not sure if we'll see the real Jett anytime soon.

Deegan. He did fine but with all the talk he backed himself into a corner and anything other than a win was gonna be subpar. 5th o/a

Over:
Hunter. I knew he was gonna be good, but 1-1 in practice and 1-1 in the motos is impressive. And this hasn't exactly been his best race. He should be even better going forward.

Prado. 2nd all day, practice and both motos. I had him 3-4th and I didn't think he'd be better than Deegan at Pala. And from the interviews it sounds like he knows exactly what to work on - adjusting better to how the track develops late in the motos. Not sure he'll learn that if he keeps training in Cali next to 65cc kids though.

Team Kawi. Both not great on paper but they both looked better than I expected. Sexton went down like 7 times but when he was on 2 wheels he looked fine. Marchbanks also looked great all day.
