There's a thread about them. I'll try and find it later. Quebec band and guitar fabricator. They have a lot of gigs and festivals booked up for the year. Canada, US, UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands.

No idea if they're being booked for their talent or sideshow gig. 😄

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I can handle maybe 15 minutes of this but there are a couple of interesting situations. The guitar is fretted most of the way up the neck in micro-tones. The bass too. The only way you can get to some of their notes on a regular guitar or bass is to bend the string. It makes for some interesting melodies. Just not THAT interesting. Most of the stuff does not really pull me in. It's just technique and looper manipulation. Their whole shtick is very innovative but I cant see people just listening to an mp3. The visual has to be there. I've only heard a couple of catchy riffs but not on this video.

Come on, broaden your horizons. No I get. This stuff is not for everybody. Might be cool live but even then I'll be heading for the bar before too long.

I listened to the whole thing, it sucked me in for some reason. I even tried a couple of their other videos before I threw in the towel 😄 It was interesting for a little while then it started sounding all the same (imo) On one of the videos I started jumping ahead 30 seconds or a minute at a time and I couldn’t even tell. It all sounded the same. I like how the vocals sound like Scooby Doo though 😂. I tried but naaah… not for me haha. A for effort. It was different Ill give em that lol

I made it a minute and half into it before I threw in the towel. I'm sure X Mike X would approve along with his band threatener. 😃

I'm into it! I mean I'm not buying and listening to an album haha but I watched the whole KEXP performance and found myself really loving some of the grooves they get into..
