Jumped on the YouTube wayback machine tonight for no particular reason.  Wishbone Ash is now on stage.

I like keyboards.  Johnny Fingers was pretty good in his pajamas with the Boom Town Rats.  At least he was in"78 at the Cambridge Corn Exchange.

My father in law played the piano and, keyboard in a band when he was younger. He’s actually damn good too.

I stored my Pearls in the barn tack room when I joined the Air Force.  Damn thing burned down.  I have one Ludwig snare left.

My oldest daughter is pretty good on the flute.  I made her try to imitate Ian Anderson.  She did ok.

I’m saving for a Pearl Session atm. Unfortunately, it doesn’t come with a snare so, I’ve been looking at getting a Ludwig Supraphonic. What snare do you have? Some of those Ludwig’s are worth a bit of money.

Edit: My daughter played the clarinet for a few years.

Lol...my mom bought me this, probably on time, when I was in the 5th grade.  That'd make it about 1972 or so.

Edt...shit...I just realized it's more like 1969.🙃

So, did she get the 'standing on one leg, the other akimbo'  down, that I A did?

And no, I mean Nothing salacious with that - Ian was / is  a hell of an Acrobat / Wildman, all while being a Spectacular Flautist.

He's till going strong, with near innumerable collaborations.

I dragged ''Aqualung', 'Thick As A Brick' and 'Too Old to Rock 'n' Roll, Too Young to Die!' from my CD collection, just last week.

I prefer Aqualung performed with the Jazz flute.

I've been practicing thick as a brick on the guitar for about, a year.... 😄  Every once in a great while I'll make it 35 or 40 seconds without a mistake, but it's rare. Luckily the only people that listen to me play are the dog and the cat and they don't seem to notice lol

I have everything from the Peter Green Fleetwood mac days, in my collection.

Even old, Chicken Shack stuff.

Been listening to a lot of it out in the shop today.

A great reminder of how fine Christine Perfect's voice was.

Give a listen to some Budgie and tell me if you can replicate the lead.
