Would this apply to a person checked out and leading the race, who sits up the last 10 laps and barely finishes top 5?

Guess you missed the part where Kenny said he was having side cramps and had a hard time keeping the pace due to the pain?

Concluding a series championship probably trumps that 'Performance Obligation" crap.

I think it would be hard to say he was slowing down vs just burned out early. God knows I've turned some slow laps just barely holding the bars, one lap to go but that was the best I could do.

That’s why Kenny sais after the race “my arms were burning, I was gassed” LOL Yeah right

He was covering his ass from the legal bloodhounds.

The AMA rulebook doesn’t leave room for common sense or logical thinking. It’s the last lap and I got a 10 second lead, ummmmm maybe I’ll back it down a bit so I don’t crash?

By AMA logic they want riders pushing limits until they crash.  Then next season we get 6 whoops.  Backwards ass association AMA corruption at its finest.

Winning the series championship is the "highest achievable position".  The Hannah rule doesn't apply here.  Broc was at the Dunlop truck.

The rule says highest achievable position in the Event.  (Not Series)

Where in the rulebook does it say that?

Vital also assumes that it's members have common sense and don't post garbage...but you disprove that every time you start typing.

Your work here is done.
