Couldn’t have ended better for either of them ! I am old as fk and I was yelling at my TV in the living room when Cole took out DB-Boy! Again when DB-Boy took him self out and then again when Hunta slid out in the turn. Crazy night of racing ! Best night of the SX season no doubt.
I am with you 95% but I was kinda looking forward to Hunter staying up. Kinda hated to see that. Hunter, Kenny, Cole....all decent people..... diaper boy? Not so much.
when cole got taken out at salt lake last year(with nothing on the line except a win), he cried on the side of a berm and had to be comforted by the entire paddock...when deegan got taken out and had his win streak broken, he was laughing coming off the track, gave cole props, and was highfiving everyone and complimentary in his interviews.

We must have watched different races, because in the one I saw, Deegan took himself out.
Its a pretty simple concept to understand honestly. Haiden only talks shit after its safe and hes already won and theres no stakes. Then when he loses he never talks shit because… he lost and theres literally nothing to talk shit about. Ppl only get credit for giving props when its not an automatic cuz you lost and theres nothing else you can do.
People respect guys like kenny or hunter so much because when they win or kick peoples asses they dont punch down at ppl around them. It would be easy to do (see deegs) because when youve already won theres literally nothing anyone can say. When those guys win and are nice people it actually takes character to not stick peoples faces in it and instead be a stand up dude. Deegan always defers to the easiest option when nothings on the line anymore.
Id honestly respect him more if he talked shit when he didnt win because theres actual stakes there and youre putting youre balls on the line that youre gonna do what you say and then when he did win was humble in victory. That would be more badass if thats what were judging by here. Instead he just always defers to the path of least resistance… already won-talk shit, lose.. have nothing to say, close mouth.

so to get this straight....you'd prefer and respect him more if when he lost he talked shit instead of giving props to the other riders.😂😂. yah i'm sure you and the rest of the people he triggers would be on team deegan if after last night he said "fuck cole he knows i'm better, I already beat him 2 out of 3 times"....sure dude totally believable, definitely not some made up standard youre using to justify for your hatred of some kid you dont like. Also talking big when your winning is what everyone does, and being humble in loss and giving credit is what every great athlete or regular athlete does.
No ones losing F1 races, ufc fights or playoff games and saying "ya those guys that beat us suck, we'll get em next time". like what planet are you living on

I don't believe Cole raced SLC last year. He was landed on by Jordan Smith in qualifying which put Cole in the hospital.
