Looking to setup a 1989 CR250 honda with wider pegs... does anyone know if there is a later model wider OEM peg that will fit? Even if it requires a little grinding?

Txs,

Any from the last 15 or 20 years probably. I think the pegs on my Honda are from 2014, they have had the same design for many years.

There are differences in the height, width, and material depending on what year/model they come from.   You want the cast stainless ones, not the cast titanium ones or the older steel ones.   The ones pictured on your bike are the wider cast stainless ones.  Even within those, there are height differences between the 450F, 250F, and newer 2-strokes.   A little googling will find the differences.  I think there's a few threads on here and Thumpertalk.

OP can use either the stainless or tatanium Yz pegs, they both work. I have used both Oem yz 4-stroke pegs and 2-stroke pegs of multiple years and even some aftermarket sharp titanium pegs on all my Hondas from the 80’s and 90’s. So they should all mount fine regardless of year or model YZ.

I understand they all mount up.   I was pointing out that there are differences and it's worth taking the time to know the differences to get what he wants.
