The track does not get rough as compared to a national motocross track or an MXGP circuit.

The curbs and square edges get to a certain point and then dries out.

FYI I have been racing and training at LEMX since 2000.

It literally feels like you’re riding on concrete. Then when they water it, it feels like you’re riding on ice. It never gets rough or choppy. It’s probably the least rough tracks in all of socal.

It typically provides a goat trail to aim for. Blue groove concrete on the trail. Like riding on a plowed field if you go outside it.

One of the worst experiences riding it when I have been there.

No it definitely sucks, but it can get pretty chunky and rutty. Definitely not a speedway like some people are suggesting

I think he wins the opener.

Jett wont be 100%
Deegs who knows wasnt that fast at Gold Coast WSX

Hunta will be good

ET no idea

Sexton maybe on a Star Yam…

You base your opinion on one pre-season race that was a dust bowl…and yet don’t factor in anything he has done since…no you're not biased at all…if we go by your logic Mookie should be leading the points based on Paris…

15, 13, 4, 13, 7.  His results the last five sx races.  Not horrible.  But saying he is killing it and improving more than expected in sx?  He has rarely been in the top 5 and has as many races outside the top ten as in.  And that's with starting top five almost every race.

He should be better outdoors.  I'm hoping he is battling for wins constantly.  Not sure he will be contending for the title in his second year though.

You realise SX isn't his main focus right now? He has nothing further to gain in SX this year & honestly he got lucky with that crash/injury earlier this year when he got away lucky. Now he &the team are riding out the sx rounds taking no risks and all their focus is on outdoor prep. Its no surprise his sx results have tapered off.

I just think you guys get a bit carried away.

Rides the 450 like a 250 revving it to the moon.

I think he will be running off the track and over riding the bike. Playing games trying to cut people off.

Think ET, Jett, Hunta and Prado will be better.

Im a huge Ken Roczen fan as well as the aussie boys too.

After what Kenny has been through its only fitting that he wins the SX title.

Considering the fact just about everyone hes racing sx against has been riding sx tracks since they were on 85s and he hadnt touched a sx track up until a couple years ago to even be in the top 10 is impressive especially straight in on a 450.
Then the fact hes showing top 3 level speed most weekends is pretty unreal and shows he has the potential to be a championship contender in the coming years.
He’s openly said hes not going to push in sx as he needs to learn

You realize about the only one that was riding SX on 85s was Deegs, the rest of these guys the closest thing was Mini Os SX which is just a small track with jumps everyone can do, right?

He has been training for SX in the off seasons with US Red Bull KTM since he was 14 years old. There are videos of him riding SX on the KTM track on a 125 in 2014. I don't know how you guys come up with this stuff.

You guys are underestimating him outdoors. He will holeshots a number of Motos and I see him potentially winning a few Motos and being on the podium a lot. This isn't SX.

I hope so because that would add a lot of excitement, but his second half to sx has been pretty damn bad.

My take-away: Sounds like someone in this thread got handled by a XR200 at Elsinore and is salty about it... 😂
