It’s up to Las Vegas. They purposely blocked any public areas to watch F1. Even cross walks, bridges, and businesses were off limits so you had to buy a ticket. It was a nightmare. Nobody from Vegas wants f1 to come back or the strip shut down for anything

That was Gary Wells, jumped the distance fine but went off the side of the ramp on landing and went into the walls rather than through a small tunnel leading into a garage or something. He lived, but was busted up pretty bad.
