Do racers use sports psychologist? To me the weakest and strongest part of person is their mind. Racers can have super human strength and they do riding around in 8th place when they have the potential to lap the field.
If they dont use them, I can see a benefit. Ill bet Ivan Drago had a Sports Psychologist
Barcia married one.
Yeah I think its a pretty common thing.
I’m an unlicensed psychologist and have a zoom session with Haiden every Monday. I believe I’m a small part of why he’s winning. Not just winning, but dominating.
There's quite a few riders who have one. I gotta double check but I can think of 5 or 10 of em.
It interesting you bring this up. Somone was on pulp recently and talking about having one. That they are using Jerry Robins person.
I ask as Im a big proponent of good mental health. I know when im stressed or in a funk that I dont ride like I do when I have a clear head. I would think in a motor sport where the athletes performance outweighs his equipment performsnce ( you know it does. KR proves it weekly on that junk RM) that the riders would place a heavy focus on mind control.

Yes lots do. Lots of top AN riders do as well.
Junk RM😂. Kenny is a fantastic rider, you saying he would be doing better on a different brand? I'm calling bull shit on that.
She sure turned him into a winning machine lol
He’s had a pretty solid career. Not bad for a dude racing d34 out of a rusted out van with junk equipment.
He’s had an awesome career imo, one most would want. I just meant that if it was all mental and having that mental coach there, then Barcia should’ve been more in the championship hunts in the 450 class since he’s been with her. I also didn’t know she was a sports psychologist, good on him for finding one with some brains
Ive always wondered what she sees in him. $$$$
If she's got brains she'll be the only one in the marriage that does...
