How anyone can claim to be a fan of the sport and run down Stewart's accomplishments and talent, as if talking crap on him somehow makes someone else faster, is beyond me. It's absolutely ridiculous, especially when it's that circle jerk of fanboys bashing one another.

It's going to be terrific to have him back on the track, as well as RV and Reed.

James was faster but Dungey won the big prize. For that matter Poto was faster than Dungey too......but.
I think we are all going to see some new blood up front this year and it will make the season much more interesting.
The kid from Texas is going to impress.

Are people forgetting A1 last year? If I remember correctly, Windham and Short ran down and passed RV (though maybe RV wasn't 100%), and Dungey caught back up to Stewart and might well have won the thing if it wasn't for that small mistake on the last lap....

I really doubt ANYONE will stand out (and really hope they don't). A1 2010 was awesome. A1 2011 will be even better (fingers crossed!!!).

Seriously, imagine a season with a healthy Stewart, Dungey, Reed, RV (and maybe a few surprises from Kdub, Canard, Grant etc....Brayton was looking good in SuperX too) all trading wins.....I CAN'T FREAKING WAIT!

Also another funny thing....
More people know who Hansen is then know who Dungey is.
Hansen's back to back XGames wins really put him out there (more people saw him win both times then people that watched the entire SX series all season long,both seasons).
Not to mention doing that MTV show and chilling in Hollywood helped his popularity. Smile

I'm not really surprised Lenny's parents know who Stewie is when he wears his shirt 24/7. As far as who's more popular Stewie's been in the sport a hellava lot longer and he is the only black man out there. Pastrana's got everyone covered by a mile.

So what should have RD done?? Given up and then someone else won everything in 2010?
With the logic a lot of you are using, it's RD's fault for winning.
Heaven forbid a guy just shows up and does his job, like others before him (Stanton, Carmichael, etc, no frills, just a good work ethic)
