this could be a compelling checkered flag to set it all in motion -
- chad reed
- ryan dungey
- james stewart
- ryan villopoto
i want reed to gain immediate confidence so he can smooth out any inhibitions from going it alone.
other interesting possibilities
- james stewart and villopoto check out early and develop a new, high-intense rivalry.
- canard proves any underestimation was a great mistake and grabs a top 1-2
- stewart and reed are both behind the new guys, cementing the latter's confidence as the new regime (well before stewart and reed were destined to relinquish it)
there's just no way to call the 2011 opener. have to believe deep down james stewart will rock the world, but wow...who can phrophesize about this season. best there ever was.

RV is the man to beat. might not do his best at A1 but get stronger each round and take the championship title.
Out of the big four, I think one of them will have problems and a new face will take a podium spot.
