A buddy and me were talking about a race where Matasavich punches Larry Ward after the checkered flag. Then Matasavich rides away and Larry trys to run after him for a few feet. Does anyone remember what race this was? We can not remember. We wanna say 93, but not sure.

We watched that video, and while they had a good battle, no punches were thrown.

Friese vs Peike wasnt even a fight.    Peike just beat the shit out of Friese for being a douche.

If you remember right, Ward got out of control and jumped across the track.  Matesavich thought he was trying to pass him or take him out.  At Red Bud I mentioned to Ward.  Chicken coming?  The answer was in line with don't know, don't care.  Lol. They had years of brake checking, block passing etc.  Chicken costed a couple people over the years, like Bradshaw's championship. Chicken was my favorite rider at the time. ;-)

Racing or spectating?

Spectating. I was 12 yrs old in the Spring of 93.

I’m a lot of things, but an SX racer is not one of them.

The Ryno one is funny.  Its like the first time he's pulled off his helmet, and he had too much bravado.  He didn't "lose" but that wasn't a win either.

I never get how people think Pieke beat the shit out of Friese. He punched him in tge back of the helmet a couple of times while Friese was trying to get going. Don't get me wrong Frieze needs an ass kicking but that wasn't it.

That was a typical High School football practice fight. Having said that, Freezer Boy did get the worst of it.

I’ve got an Amaradio Xtreme KTM 33 jersey from that season! It’s not prefect but it exists and is RAD!

ok, maybe not getting the shit beat out of him.    Still, i wouldn't have wanted to be on the receiving end of that.

Henry and Hughes are in the first link I posted above. Dement and Amaradio are in this one.
