We started watching Peacock through a PS5 and it cleared up all our issues. No more lagging, no more buzzing, it's just all around better. For some reason that app also allows me to reverse all the way back to the beginning of the race if I cut in halfway through.

I’m using an Amazon Fire TV Stick. Was out a little late last night, arrived home at 8pm eastern time. Opened up Peacock, rewound to the first 250 heat race, after watching all the heat races it was then only a couple minutes before the main events 👍

I was also able to fast forward through most of the commercials 😉

That being said the amount of people that blame peacock when it’s either there device there streaming from, how far it is away from their router, or the speed of their internet.

For example when streaming peacock on my tv it’s absolutely terrible, but when I stream from my Xbox no issues. It’s obviously would be a my tv problem not a Peacock problem.

I know bro I don’t need you to explain it to me. Upload is usually slower than download and my tv is literally wired to my router. It was a peacock issue. I was just point out the op isn’t crazy.

Sure, but it’s odd that the only thing that lags and stumbles is SX. Maybe it’s because it’s the only thing I watch live. Works fine when I watch the replay. I have the same issues as the OP with both RDL and the race production.

no issues watching via PC on big screen tv even with IPTV stream of it running in the back round too

I do the same. Laptop plugged into the tv. I used to have nothing but issues using smart TV or PS4.

Another vote for it’s not Peacock. No issues, ever, at my house

If you are using a Roku, Google "Clear Roku cache.  Whenever I have trouble with Peacock locking and freezing, I clear the Roku and all is well for weeks.

Agreed.  Sign up for cheap internet and use the modem/router garbage they give you with 15 devices on that one router that is in their basement or something....thern complain when can't stream live HD sports.  Look up Orbi systems or comparable and ditch the shit Comcast gave you.  Always hardwire where possible too.

It's a connectivity issue if you are using the modem/router from the cable company...the routers that the cable company provide are garbage and can't handle too many devices connected and when you have that it will put the most stress on the router which will more than likely buffer what is  taking up the most bandwidth on your router and that would be a live broadcast. Try disconnecting everything but your TV from the router for the next race.

It worked fine for me yesterday, except for the phantom computer noises in the background. It sounds like someone recorded a European ambulance, then hooked it up through a guitar amp turned up to 11, then re-recorded it from a distance and has it playing quietly on repeat in the next room.

EDIT: And it's only during the broadcast, not the commercials. I think it's a Feld problem, not a Peacock problem.

I had freezing and jumping issues last nigh also. I have TDS internet and I never have any of these issues on any broadcast. For some reason,  almost every live Peacock SX race...it happens.
