I,m not a top 3 guy in America & I hv a few injection apts on the bod.  Hopefully in March I hv them done then  I,m going to Florida.  Hit a couple LL qualifiers for a speed check. If it’s real good hit some pro ams.  Then Wi. 125 12+ class top 5 are national level speed.  Deshchambault week long race & pre mix on Sunday. Racing sand tracks in Wi. , Millville , Red Bud, sunset Ridge. I see Hawk Stone Park is a sand track. I watched Nev Bradshaw race a 125 there. Looks like a fun track.  I hv 3 04 cr125,s all I need is a chassis.  But I would Love to ride an old Worxs 93-97 cr125.   I started working out 3 weeks ago last mon- fri I did so much legs I had to shut it down a couple days.  Injection on IT band I hv to stop also.  Speed sit ups 50 min  max Real intense.  A lot of 4 epson salt baths in ice water. Trying to get ready. What kind of fuel you run ?

Go all out!

Team USA: Carmichael can ride a Scorpion King "Triumph" CR 250

2002 Factory Honda CR250R of Ricky Carmichael with Scorpio… | Flickr

Windham is back riding a two stroke... 2000 CR250, 2001 RM250 or upset the apple cart and build a 2002 CRF450 for him - Lee Dungarees may be interested in a re-up with his current beard set up. Pastrana still has it and loves a two stroke... 😏

Team France: Pourcel again, Pichon on a Corona Suzuki? Vuillemin is in France full time now - YZ250 or Tortelli on a 2001 "Stark" CR250?

Lets make it happen!

Tony Laroso spelled wrong ? He tried to qualify at Southwick last yr& he owns a sand track in Nh. It’s a 3 day event a no name rider that does a lot of 3 day event sand tracks  would do well.  Wi. Has a lot of fri  practice,  sat, sun race all sand tracks. Red Bud amateur day Thursday to sun , Millville the same.  Wed, Thur 10 bucks, Fri - sun 20 to ride at a 700 acre deep sand park. I rip the small sx track next to the pits , it’s great to sharpen quickness .

Right, i know who you are now.

So get them guys back , and i can be the third rider LOL.

Christian Burnham was someone i never knew a lot about, he ended up in 500GP's after the 250 class took over, without really being on my radar here in the UK, i was doing British 4 Stroke Champs back then ( no points were harmed in these seasons) , and he just seemed to appear as a GP rider out of nowhere, i know he rode for Sarholz and went onto Factory VOR , and had some great results, and then just vanished.

I did listen to a really good interview with him from Farleigh, which i guess was when you had him there, where he spoke of all of his personal struggles off the track, and he came across as a real nice guy, which backs up your personal experience.

I dont know how moving the race to Hawkstone will go, because while they are moving the era's forward with the classes, those classes never raced at Hawkstone, as it was done as a GP venue by then.

But looking forward to it, should be way easier to Livestream than Foxhill, where we have to get guests over on the Mule from the other side of the track , we will be right in the middle of it all , which will be way better.

The problem is not really bikes, its money, there are riders that will come for $$ , and mostly that gets covered by the organisers, for guys riding their kit, anything else usually falls on the teams involved.

Herring is down to ride already and his bike is built, Malin just doesnt ride, he is way too busy,  J Law is a hard no from me, just because .

I can well imagine it comes down to money, the big hitters will want big quids I expect

Fair play to the guy building the bikes and offering them for the event

Cant wait to see Robbie again,Malin was only a dream rider suggestion  really, seeing him on the big KX with 'young pup' on his butt patch back in the day was amazing

Who ever turns up it will be a top event as always

I have had guys from the US race my stuff at events in Europe and the UK, and have got to do races in California and Unadilla as a result, but the bikes i have now are only really ' hobby rider' level , my mate cam over from Cali to do Farleigh last year on one of my RM250's .

You have to have top level bikes to justify putting a name on them, i cant do that sadly, my builds are always 'get you round bikes'  .

All I need is a 04 cr125 chassis. I would bring my complete engine, ignition, carb, forks, shock & T clamp. I hv no idea if I can even ship all that.  I wish the race was at Fox Hills yet I Love that track.  Why did the race move ?  But being at a sand track gives me a Huge advantage since all our tracks here R sand but 2.

Deano for team GB with Tommy and Brad would be epic. He’s in Oneal on a Honda - an Amsoil Larocco throw back would be sweet!

Hi Phil...

John dowd got injured a few years ago ( think he broke his leg )

I've had the privilege of mike brown, Dr d. 5 times,  and many others..even top UK British lads,..

My main reason for putting it on here, was hoping to find maybe 3 guys looking  to mix it with the top guys from all over the world..

I have funded it myself for over 8 years..

Without being bias,  I'd like to think my bikes are more than capable of mixing it ...

They have won and finished in the top 3...on many occasions..

As you know it's a great to see your bikes being used to there max by these amazing guys...

Call Jeff Dement he raced 125 gp,s 99- 03.  His SRS engines , JM Racing basically that’s his spec.  Tallon Vohland used it in 99 & beat RC.  Talon raced GP,s for yrs. Bobby More the same .  My Mom was born in Holland it says so on my birth certificate.  Would that work for being on a Dutch team ?  Stribos, Erik Eggens  & me . , I,ll be racing 12+ 125 class Rocket fast kids. There a lot  faster than vet riders.  1 of Wi. Fast 125 riders raced it 1 yr & has to race A class.  Josh Grant another JM Racing cr125 rider.

How about the YouTube guy, ken Kaplan

Not a pro rider, but he's fairly well known across social media and has a lot of energy

I wonder if Jimmy Decotis would do it? He still clearly likes to ride and often shreds a 2 stroke in 125/250f events etc. Still insanely quick as well, I think he'd go well around Hawkstone.

you clearly roll out great bikes,as past results show

Massive respect to you for all the time, effort and money you put into it

I have a couple of CR250s and a CR500,but cant imagine finding time/money to get them up to the spec needed. So hats off to you

Fingers crossed you get a rider worthy of your bikes

people like you make this event what it is
