With the win from Sexton this weekend, can we finally put to rest Prado blaming the bike? It wasn't the bike George!

Chase changed the entire suspension/ triple clamp set up after the first round and wins the third round. He didn't give up, blame the bike or the team. It looks like Kawasaki is a little more flexible with changing set-up than previously reported.

I agree. I think he's riding great on the KTM. Really surprised me.

I don't think the bike was ever the issue in SX. He never complained about it in SX. We'll see what happens outdoors.

But so far Prado has a better start to the season and chase has a worse start of the season. Also 3 races in and Chase has had a half a dozen serious crashes.

So "I don't know man"

JFC this shit again?? Give it a rest, the horse is dead already.

Some people can ride and adapt to different bikes, like Chase, some can't, like Prado. It is what it is.

MC the king couldn't ride the 97 CR to the point where he quit the team before the season started, but no one harps on that do they.

Valid points, I guess we will have to wait for the outdoors to really put this to rest.

The same can be said about the KTM.

You're bringing up something from 1997, soooo, yes, they do.

If we're going to play the rider blame game and cherry pick the results to fit the narrative I think its only fair to say the KTM seems to spend a lot less time laying on its side throughout the day than the Kawi does.

The same bike that had AP confused why he was spit off. Wait until George and Eli start having the strange shock issues Chase and Tom had last year and that AP had last weekend

It was the bike outdoors and it was also Prado who made the situation look even worse.

Pretty sure he was injured before the 2025 SX season started and then got injured again at the third round. That SX season was already doomed before it started.

I don't know why we are talking and comparing outdoors (where he struggled) with SX. Let's wait until the summer at least.

No. Even Prado said the bike was good for sx. He said that consistently last year. And Chase crashed twice Saturday.

But he rode the Suzuki with a throttle that didn't open and a clutch that wouldn't last a moto!

Hear me out, but wouldnt Chase going away from all the Factory Kawi parts over to PC parts show that the Factory bike maybe wasnt so great? Do you think that Kawi would have put PC stuff on Jorges bike last year? I personally dont think so. To me, Kawi is backed into a corner and HAVE to give Chase whatever he wants to succeed. If he doesnt, it will make Kawi look real bad. Having said that, with Chase, no matter what bike he is on, its only a matter of time until he wins. It will be the same for Jett when he comes back, and if he ever changed teams.

You're right, because the RM must have felt better than the CR.

MC: spent his entire life/career on a steel frame, gets on an alloy frame,  doesn't feel comfortable to ride at full pace, does a couple of off season races and just can't ride it, quits and gets back on another steel frame.

Prado: spent his entire life/career on a steel frame, gets on an alloy frame, doesn't feel comfortable to ride at full pace and rides out the season at below full effort as to not crash, quits and gets back on a steel frame.

I'm not at all comparing MC and Prado and there's a hell of a lot of other factors in both situations, I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of some because on a basic level, both situations are the same.

Some riders can adapt to different bikes, and some can't. Shut this thread down, it's the 10th plus thread on this subject and it's redundant.

Funny, since Sexton said Pro Circuit has much more leeway to try things and develop parts than factory Kawasaki and that's why he wanted to try Kitchen's bike.

Perhaps he's upset that his boyfriend gets pissed when he touches the mirrors and seat position?  You never know what someone is dealing with, personally, when they project onto others. 😅

Sidenote: Sexton secretly rides a Team Green bike now

Or maybe Kawi "found" something.
