I'll take that bet Mr. Quick. I know you either won't respond or decline because you don't actually believe that James will not finish.
well you have been wrong three out of three times thus far...I did respond and I didnt
decline and i honestly believe he will not finish but as for the bet, I don't remember betting anything, what did you have in mind? Smile

Why is Weimer mentioned so rarely in this thread? I think he will be a big upset for all you JS, RD, RV, CR, TC -enthusiasts! I see podiums for him in my crystal ball. Smile

Plus, I want to say that I really like Reed's style and would love to see him do good, but I'm afraid that riding in your own team and running against the bigger (factory) teams is like putting up a burger joint and try to run down McDonald´s. Smile There's just too much s*it to handle for him to be a championship contender this year. I hope I'm wrong and the plus side in being the sole rider in the team is that all the team's efforts are focused in his performance. Maybe we'll see wins from him, maybe not...

Damn, I wish it was 8th jan already... Can't stand the exitement.

even though you are kidding around about them being only as good as last year, its true that new kids come up and take down the old guard. How many times have we seen it in this and every sport known to man? The two you mentioned will be fast and will be in the hunt just like Dungey will but i think the days of them handing anyone's ass to them is long gone.

Its going to be sooo important to get the start this year, last year if RD got it he usually won and the same goes for RV. You throw 4 great riders into the mix and look out.. That is the only problem i see with RD taking most of the wins and the title this year, he is not a great starter.. RV may win the title or even bubba but its not going to be a walk in the park when RD, Reed and the other contenders are on the track!

You may be right.

At the same time, I think(hope) the days of RD winning a title because he doesn't have to race a full season against James, Chad, RV, Grant, etc. are "long gone" as well.

I get really tired of people forgetting recent history. James, Chad, and even RV can all say they have beat RC in a moto, and with James and Chad, a championship. Can Dungey say that?

A1 can't get here soon enough.

What championships did Reed and Stewart take from RC?

LMAO!

I just wanted to see if Dad was able to see anything clearly. Wink

Seriously, the point is, everybody seems to forget what the other guys have accomplished because of some recent injuries.

Sissies eh? Please explain to me and others why we are sissies for not wanting to put money down on a championship that, we have zero control over? I choose to bet on things that make sense. Which one does better at the track you or your buddy? Loser opens their case of beer that sunday. To me that is much more enjoyable than being a keyboard hardass, betting on something that he isn't even involved with the outcome. Sissies... Really?
