Agree! My oldest was born on the 13th and I've considered it a lucky number ever since.

In the last decade I used:

419-My Wife's B-day

408-My daughters b-day

Then my little brother died 2 yrs ago I run his number in memory of him: 55.

RIP Collin(he's the one i am jumping over in my pic)

Didn't have a number until my first race and my buddy said I had to come up with a number. In high school my home and away jersey numbers were 44 and 45. Combined the two and came up with #445.

Dumb, but it worked that day of my first race.

741- My high school Football and Hockey #were 41... Had to add another digit to it so I went with 7 cause it looked cool. Been running it since 2002.

Tiny - Tiny Side panels on a KTM 50, so we asked for any 2 digit number available. We got # 27, earned a national # twice and a D-22 Champion #, but 13 years later, it's still # 27.

started with 33 on minis then went to 45 when I moved up.

I picked my numbers because they were visually balanced and fun to sketch/draw/design around.

My number is 143. It was originally 43, but is now 143. I chose this because exit 143 is the exit on I-40 for Loretta Lynn's where I've had my greatest memories.

As a baseball player I was 21. In high school my girl and I used to go to this shady hotel and the room we always got was #121. When I started racing I was told to use the last three digits of my AMA number which was 121. When I went to college my first dorm # was 121. When I got a real job (where I still work 22 years later) my department # was....yeah, 121.

I reserve the right to run 121 on my plates!

I think I'll live to be 121 years old!

111 Because i was born on january 11. And if I ever earned 2 digit # it would be 11. The next step is self-explanatory. Needless to say it didnt work out.

I've been running #905 since my 65 days! I always thought that the number looked cool, and really NO ONE has it. Smile

Before my uncle turned pro 79' (MIKE CAREY), his amateur # was 152 and my dad's was 252 so since I was like 4yrs. old I was going to be 52, my dad being oldest with 252, his bro 152 & me 52......whenever not available I would alwys choose 152 since 3-diget is always easier to fit with a 1 in it......happy to say I have #52 back!

I run 3.14 (pi) just because I like to see how many people get it. Been running it since 2001. The owner of the track that I ride at thought I was referencing a bible verse so he used to call me the bible thumper until I clued him in. My wife runs 520 because our oldest daughter was born on May 20th.

When I entered my first race I had to choose a number so since my first name is John and I'm a United Methodist pastor, I chose, 316 for "John 3:16"

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

For years I balked at my friends who had numbers but never raced. I'm cheap and didn't want to spring for the backgrounds but I did, then used white contact paper for the numbers.

63 - My grandpa played college football, it was his number.
63 - I played ice hockey, he supported it, loved it.
963 - If I was semi-fast, I would run 63, so I added a 9... 3-6-9 / 9-6-3

I ran 517 because as a kid I was 51, and then raced another district and had to add a number. Then when I went to B class the district gave me 117 and it stuck for the last 5 years. My daughter is now 517, and my son wants either 117 or 917 (in honor of sorby)

131.
My older brother raced local A class when I was little so I thought it was cool when he ran it. Ran it ever since I was on mini's after he changed his to his ama number. Plus I like how it looks.

I wanted to choose #4 for my rmz , but i m not gonna disrespect the GOAT!, I m too slow to ride with that number on my zook, so i also chose #2, and i m a huge RV, MC, RJ, Metty fan. Ironic that #2 and #4 are my favorite riders and Metty rocks #24!

Haven't really "tried" to sell it, but it is for sale. $2400.00 for anyone interested. Might have something to do with my packrat status I've achieved with the wife. She's considered hiring me a clutter counselor and I might even have my own episode of Hoarders. Stay tuned...
