Do they track everything? How many shifts, how many times was the clutch engaged? How hard was the throttle pulled and how long was it pinned throughout a moto.......  Opens a ton of cool " outside of how they finished " Questions

Mostly everything... The ecu will provide several pieces of data.. rpm and throttle position, gear position, coolant temp, air intake temp and pressure.. Adding a speed sensor either picking up output shaft speed, or wheel speed somewhere and clutch actuation sensors are common. And then you obviously you see the suspension sensors measuring travel, speed and angle. They all have gps and it will make a "track" so to speak, and they can learn where everything is happening very specifically.

That’s why I don’t have it:difficult to justify buying a pipe if the throttle hasn’t been against the stop the whole race!

I have the CUO on my KTM 350 and I can track all that stuff with the exception of the suspension and clutch.  It’s neat to see. I’ll think that I have the bike screaming through a section of the track and then look at the data to see it was only turning 9k RPMs lol. I’m sure the factory teams have even more data.
