2024 Ktm 350 sxf stock remap vs vortex ecu

Anybody know the main differences between the two? Is the vortex worth the extra $800 compared to the stock remap. Thanks in advance

I was told by another rider is wasn't worth it. I got the stock remapped and I couldn't ask for anything more. It's perfect.

I’ll say this. On a Honda CRF250R it’s a night and day difference. It’s an ecu on steroids.

I have the ktm connectivity on mine and love the changes I made to fit my riding style.

I have both.  The stock with a twisted remap is good. Better than I was expecting.

My experience is the following on a 2022 KTM 350 SX-F --- which is less powerful than your 2024 and more in need of a remap than your 2024 as I understand from talking w/ many 2023+ 350 owners.

I went this route to baby step into stock ECU reprogramming + explore the Vortex world I hear so much about.

(1) I sent my stock ECU to TZR (Tom Zont Racing) for a reprogram for $110 to test the waters and it was EXCELLENT - I would recommend this without hesitation. I estimate the gains were ~ 10%. BTW, I found TZR on VitalMX after researching options. Note: I also have a Twisted Development programmed stock ECU on the shelf I will test soon(ish) and update here.

(2) I also purchased a Twisted Development programmed Vortex ECU and am VERY impressed with it. I would have sold the bike had I not been able to get this level of performance from the bike.

I had an 18 & 19 350sxf.  Tried Tokyo Mods,TZR, and eventually bought the Vortex from TD.  I'm sea level, so that might have some impact..?...but I will say the Vortex was a big disappointment especially for $1,100.  The reflash made a small, good, noticeable change when paired with a vented airbox and screenless air filter.  I questioned if the Vortex was actually programmed for me but got called TD a canned answer....   I now own the 24 and definitely feel it's better in stock form.  I'd be interested in your feedback about TZR reflash effect on the 24.  PS I'm running a full HGS currently.  All stock elsewhere.

I recently reached out to TZR about remapping the stock ECU on my 2024 350sx-f and he said he cannot do anything with the 2023+ ECUs.
