I think someone like Eli, Hunter, or Ken wins A1 and everyone immediately says they’re the favorite to win the title.

No, it'll be "Well, title fight is basically over, [A1 winner] is clearly going to run away with it". I feel like fans do this every year. Lol

Roczen is traditionally really strong at this race.

ROFL…. Well we don’t usually have a super positive opinion of a quitter.

And I tried real hard to be a fan, even went to the San Diego SX in 24 just to watch him.

Don't know but I think we have the potential for a very interesting season with a lot of different winners. Good track builds and more whoops would be nice.

If it's a mudder, I'll take Barcia or Mookie.

Your boys Sexton and Plessinger quit half the damn season with some weak ass excuse but hey I guess it's ok because they're American right? Selective outrage from you lot.

I'm not going to derail this thread but adding Prado as an option was a light hearted quip in a poll that has Hill, Ferrandis, McElrath, Savatgy and Craig as legitimate choices to win A1. Out of all those names, Prado has the most recent (if only?) heat race win.

Has prado outperformed both of them before quiting? Or did we not have soft enough teepee when he sat down to pee after a1?

Look at you making stuff up…. Cool, maybe learn to keep it real.

There’s a massive difference between a huge dismount, a serious chemical imbalance and purposely trying not to qualify for a pro race you are paid to ride.  Get lost fool.

Yeah, that would be awesome!  Hell, Shane McElrath gets around in the mud really well too…. P2 at Foxborough as I recall.

And RJ can put in some fast ones too, just think the mud might bring back the RJ we all remember.

Prado shouldn`t have any problem to beat many of the riders in this poll.

Sorry for the lack of info. The results are from his first races in the US on the Gasgas when he was testing SX.

Not pissed, just showing that he`s already beaten many of the riders in this poll.

Prado is/was an absolutely valid response to this post…. A “light hearted quip” per the person that posted it.

There was a reply that was also grounded in humor, if I read it correctly.  That post initiated a response that was a targeted insult at Americans…. Not related to this topic at all.

That was the “derail” of the thread.  Having lived for more than 6 decades, I should be able to take the high road….

I apologize.

I'm guessing that Plessinger wins if its a mud pit.

Not far off!

Next weekend I think we`ll need to add a guy that beat 13 of the 15 riders in this poll.
