What ever happened to complying with law enforcement? I know you don't have to like them, but you should definitely respect the badge and comply with lawful orders. #1, she shouldn't have been trying to impede a convoy of law enforcement vehicles, and #2 had she complied with orders to get out of the car she wouldn't be dead.

I've watched some of the actual news coverage and a few left wing podcasts. Taibbi did some coverage that was pretty good. Sure looks like she hit that ICE agent with her car. Also it appears that her and her wife were there to obstruct ICE. Stupid games stupid prizes. I wonder where her kids were? Not in day care. Not in that city.
The officer created a way more dangerous situation by shooting her. And he has zero problem getting out of the way of the car. If he followed training he wouldn’t have put himself in danger by stepping in front of the vehicle.
There is no way to justify a death in that situation.

The media has been playing the angle where you can't see what is going on, other than her starting to accelerate when the wheels are turned to the left when they're claiming they were turned to the right and she was trying to go around him....look again. Then, you see the angle from his body cam showing her look right at him when she punches it.
Take a look at this angle at 3:50 in the video below, she f'ing plowed him and he's lucky he didn't get run over. Like you mentioned, this is a perfect example of "play stupid games, wins stupid prizes." First you tough girls try to f'ck with a law enforcement convoy, then you don't comply with law enforcement when they confront you on foot (and talk shit to them in the process), and to finish it off you try to punch it and run over a law enforcement agent in front of your vehicle.....result?? You're dead.
She and her lover were there creating a "DANGER" situation, no?

Some reports she was told to leave and that’s what she was trying to do. DHS handbook states officers can’t shoot at a vehicle to prevent escape. And the officer was able to get out of the way and fire two shots through the driver door.
I get that, if that was the actual plan, but all the evidence points otherwise.
If she was leaving, was she leaving her lover behind?
If she was leaving, why was both of them engaging the ICE agents for hours before this happened trying to goat them?
The vid shows her partner yelling "Hit him!, go, hit him!".
How about the two lovers shouldn't have been out in the streets f"cking with a law enforcement convoy in the first place?!?? Where's the accountability? These chicks put themselves in that position and talked shit during the whole incident. She played a really stupid game and won a really stupid prize. How about let's get back to respecting the law now and obey orders now that body cams are on every officer. Just obey the f'cking law when you are confronted and you won't harm yourself or anyone else around you. How many of you guys are out trying to block federal agents with your cars and talking shit to them as you punch the gas pedal and try to run one over?
I wish the laws were tougher than they are now. Too many people have zero respect for law enforcement nowadays.
I have not seen video of them harassing the agents before this incident? I don’t really trust what’s coming from either side right now.

She was told to get out of the car by the officer. Not told to leave. What her wife said to her is irrelevant, the officer clearly told her to get out of the car.
Two people made very bad mistakes, one of them is dead as a result, the other’s life is likely ruined. Sadly, it happens every day with different players and circumstances.
this was before she got in the car. There were reports she was told to leave so that’s what they were trying to do. Again both sides are trying to spin this so I’ll just go what my eye balls tell me and that’s the the officer had no problem getting out of the way and these individuals weren’t the subject of whatever ICE was doing.

Her and her "partner" deserved to arrested and thrown in jail.
The way I saw it from the bodycam she was attempting to flea from the scene at the orders of her "partner" saying "drive baby drive". She fucked up in doing so and hit the ICE agent. Its ultimately her and her partners fault for putting themselves in a position they did not need to be in.
With that said that agent was pulling that gun and was quick to kill her. Too quick. I do not know what the laws are or if he was in his rights to kill her but I cannot really justify shooting her in the face over that.
I think someone or something is brainwashing or even paying these people to go out there and cause issue and this is exactly the outcome they hoped for.

It's hard to tell from the video I saw if he was too quick on the trigger. I can't tell when the shots were fired. Forensics will tell a lot. if the there is a bullet hole in the windshield, then self defense is a very viable defense. If he shot after she hit him then self defense is sketchy. If there is a bullet hole in the back window then it's even sketchier. I suppose it's possible that a bullet hole in the windshield could also mean that he shot before she accelerated. That's another issue. Shit is happening in split seconds. Humans are anything but perfect. But it is completely within the laws of most states that if a suspect is driving at you, deadly force is appropriate.

I understand the vehicle could be looked at as a weapon but I dont think she was aiming at him. The agent was on the passenger side and was moving to the driver's side im assuming to pull her out when she made her bone head decision to try to get away.
Again its the womans fault in the end for doing what she was doing but I dont want to see federal agents shooting "unarmed" civilians. It gives me the heebie jeebies. He was quick with that trigger.

I wonder how much she got paid today for protesting because no amount of money was worth losing her life over. The people who are behind paying these protestors should be held liable for instigating and encouraging unlawful acts. These ladies should have been home working on their to-do lists or at the office doing something productive on a Friday, and not out being disrespectful to law enforcement and thinking they are above the law. All that and a life taken for what, maybe $50-100 each they got paid for this stunt? For all you paid protesters who post here, how much do they pay you for something like this? Do they also script the verbal attacks for you like they do with the writing on the picket signs? She said, "You want to come at us!? You want to come at us!? I say you go get yourself some lunch Big Boy!" That's not something anyone should be saying to law enforcement to try and provoke them, especially a brainwashed paid protestor. I'd say her employer go that one really wrong and they should be responsible.
It's not worth it folks. Hell, I can pay you more for doing some productive year-end accounting for me here at the office on a Friday night. What sounds safer and more productive, Quickbooks or "paid-protestor" looks? Stay safe out there as it often aligns with being productive.
Before jumping to conclusions and making claims about how this woman was such a victim of circumstances, some of you might want to do a little research on Minnesota ICE Watch and think about why she was there at all.
