I think Kenny has the best shot at this since he wrecked his arm in 2017. He has been strong to the end in most of his races  last year - no fading - and his WSX performance (though limited to 12 laps in main) was solid. With Tomac and Sexton on new bikes the only repeat winner on an established platform is Webb. But like I said earlier, Webb is just too solid. Kenny is going to have to pull a "Rocky" and just stick with it till the end like Webb always does. I think Kenny can beat Webb on a 1:1 race if he can keep him within a few points until the end of the series.

I hope Kenny wins it but he fades.

Over the 50 years of Supercross,  no one over the age of 29 has ever won the 450/250 smoke championship.   Webb is currently the oldest when he won it in 2025 at 29 yrs 6 months old.  Not even McGrath won after 29 years old.

Age at final round of the Supercross season in 2026:

Tomac = 33

Anderson  = 33

Roczen  = 32

Webb = 30

Sexton = 26

Hunter L = 26

The odds are against the first four.  Sexton probably has the highest odds.

Green highlighted cells are currently active riders.

I really believe that Prado can win the SX Championship. (not saying which year though)

Sure. Can also be in 2026 already.

I think Tomac comes out swinging if he has managed to get the pumpkin bike working.  He has the speed to cover Web and is likely to be more consistent than Chase.  Web will be a definite threat and any bobbles or bike setup issues for Tomac and it's his to loose.  Chase has the most speed potential and if he can avoid mistakes, and has the green mach figured out he will win races.

It’s going to be a tomac/roczen/webb battle. I think tomac will have mid season lows, Roczen will have the points lead, then the last few rounds Webb will be that peterbilt just chugging along, right there, ready to pass as soon as you break down..

Who knows, either way I’m stoked & don’t plan on missing a single race.

This pole is funny, Jett has only completed 1 SX season out of 3 so far in his career. The kid gets hurt a lot.

I like chase… I just don’t see him a contender the whole season. I’d like to honestly see him complete this season without having a “chase” moment. We all the see the greatness that is Chase Sexton. To me, the inconsistencies have become more consistent. Was it all the bike? We’ll see.

Chase is gonna lead every lap for the first 5 events. Then, in Seattle he's gonna get struck by lightning while leading. He will still win that race. The Shaman that Kawasaki hired in the off season to scramble Chase's brain will get handed 1 billion dollars for having the foresight to make Chase lightning immune. At Daytona, he will get bit by a shark and get zero points. Then in St. Lous, he will jump 200 ft. in the air over a quad and hit a cactus. He'll finish the race but will be out for the rest of the season due to being "Banged up" from the cactus. He will snatch jaws from the victory of defeat. He'll start wearing his hat sideways and make sly jabs at Kawi. Redbull Racing Mitsubishi will take him in to start the SX 2027 team and will hire a wizard to unscramble his brain.

Cooper Webb will be your 2026 SX champion and his only win will be St. Louis where he used his jedi mind powers to make Chase hit the cactus. It will be revealed that the Shaman worked for Coop all along because he was held hostage by finger guns.

He gets injured, yes. And it's a bummer for him and the series/fans that he is out again, no question about it. But there is a reason for this poll. Since 2021 nobody has beat Jett in a championship that he finished. Like it or not, but the biggest championship rival to Jett.. is Jett himself.

Jett results

Let's be honest, would anybody here be surprised if Chase ends up with the most wins in SX?

I think without Jett, Hunter struggles.  I firmly believe that Jett helped his brother be better, even in the 250's, without Jett, Hunter was not going to find his mojo.  We will see

Why is Prado riding mx and not sx? Is it common to practice mx 2 weeks out from a1?

Outside of Chase last year outdoors, he’s not missed a lot of races…. This concept that he’ll somehow be out is not making sense to me.

His issue is giving up points due to poor decisions…. Like trying to pass Webb in race 3 of a triple crown when he already had the overall just finishing where he was.  Or pushing too hard and tucking the front instead of playing the points game and settling for second, etc.

Barring an injury (applies to all of them), thinking he won’t be in the title chase is absurd.

Fair point actually. Does it count if Jett is at the race even though he's not riding?
