He was responding to Chris O'Neal's original post (that has since been changed) where he pointed out that Les Smith has already been riding his HoT bike.

Very odd that Izzi, Smith and presumably Kilbarger already have their bikes and now the team is talking about throwing in the towel (again).

From what they said on Vurb, it looks like they are done. Since the dealership went out of business last week, I wouldn't count on them funding a team. That sucks.

Moto Hose was part of 2011 TROY RACING team so we are all working on plan B with Les & Izzi as the riders.

I mentioned this in the original post of the team, wondering if they'll even be open in January. Sorry to hear of the closure but that place was on it's way out in the spring. Kilbarger has money, they'll be out there one way or another.

not to discredit the other guys but izzi really deserves a second or third shot. if i had the money i would be putting a team together for these dudes in a second.

Talked briefly with Tony Kilbarger at the Columbus AX last night - he did mention that

Honda Of Troy came and picked up the big-rig from his house - says he's hoping

to get another one. That's pretty much all I know about that....

Exactly, the money to run the team came from Kilbarger's family not HoT. To think they'd pull support from a bunch of dudes they don't even pay to field CP is a rock solid miss.

Honda of Troy...Yamaha of Troy...whatever they call it, has been going down for quite a few years. From what I have seen and heard they have been scraping by to stay afloat for a couple years. Here is hoping for the best! I dig the program that they had.

I went to the supercross.com and saw where this misinformation (ditched the 250 team deal) was being tied to me. I did make a post about how cool would it be if CP rode the outdoors only but there is no truth to the rumor above.

Your guess is as good as mine as to what is really going on.............by week's end the smoke should have cleared.
