A Ray testing out top secret prototype electric Kawasaki at Colorado 2020
Wow, haven’t seen that angle before! My son and I were standing on the balcony at Spring Creek building that day, I looked away for just a split second and he screamed, I turned around just as Chad hit the downside of the landing! Bad timing on my part…
That was scary to see him flying thru the air like that, I gained a lot of respect for Reedy for riding after such a crash. There’s this pic too, and you can see the look on people’s faces in the background!

Even more unusual is the second angle haha
Ricky not respecting Kevin's personal space haha
I think we all saw the video of this..
Can't believe this hasn't been posted yet haha
Love Toni Cairoli! Dude has the won the life championship
I believe this is a GuyB pic, but he definitely caught this same moment, and in was in a motor drive burst sequence where you could see the immediate prior and after images. It showed that in some of these very cool shots it's actually just before things go wrong. Here KW's bike stood up it drove into the berm so hard and almost high sided. Believe this was Glen Helen in 2003, and you can see it on the video of that race if you can find it.
Same with this pic of RV, which I love, but it's just as RV was losing the year end and it almost came around enough to bite him.
On the other hand, this is pure RV hammering it . . . 🙂
Washougal 2004
Pure JLaw dive bomb intentional take out. Much "hold me back" drama between JG and JLaw at the end of this heat (SF sometime in the 2000s).
Jeff Kardas pic
Haha, I’m in this photo. Always fun to see it pop up.
Pit Row
....when you can't help yourself.
All time classic shot.
Still one of the sickest shots ever!
Probably the most rare pic of David Bailey, because he is out of shape. That's me behind him of the first moto at the '83 Lake Whitney 250 National. I sent it to him a few years ago and in true David Bailey form, he remembered the moto vividly. Said he was leading and slid out in the opening laps. In the crash his goggles got some sweat inside them so he chunked um. Said it was great for a lap or two with the fresh air, cause it was close to 100 degrees. Then the Lake Whitney sand started getting in his eyes and he fell back to around 5th.
