No one is asking them to give specific details about any possible injury. But it would be nice if they would just said, hey we’ve heard that something happened and we’re waiting on more news, or just say these are rumors and we haven’t heard anything about it.

Broken ankle can easily be worse than a knee. The foot and ankle is a complicated joint. We’ve heard lower leg and ankle, hopefully that doesn’t mean tib/fib which would be a 4-6 month recovery.
That’s not good. If it involves surgery his SX season is toast.

Having high expectations is one thing but listening to Joey talk it’s pretty evident he struggles with depression. I don’t think HRC would bring that energy into the team.
It depends on where and how it’s broken. A broken ankle can sometimes heal faster than a sprained ankle where ligements often take time to heal. The worst scenario is a pilon fracture which is way worse than the torned ACL he had earlier this year. A Pilon Fracture could be devastating for him.
I collapsed my ankle in May 2005. Had several plates put in. I was play riding about 5 or so months later. Didn't race til the following year. Hopefully he does better than that.

It's not TMZ-esque shit. It's simply reporters reporting on what they hear from reputable sources. If it turns out they were way wrong, they find new sources, but 99% of the time they know the info is true because they're so . Very few sports will shield news depending on what the teams themselves want reported.

I was just pointing out an ankle can be far worse than an ACL. We are pretty good at repairing knee’s and ACL specifically. Ankles and wrists can be much harder because of the complexity of the joint and can require hardware or fusions that can limit full recoveries.
I heard it was actually Deegan that broke his arm.
