Cold start button not resetting

Have a weird problem with the cold start button on my '19 Husqvarna FC350: it won't snap back open (down) when I rotate throttle forward.  I have adjusted the cables per the manual and still nothing.  I can't recall ever using the cold start button in 150+ hrs of riding, but it bothers me that it isn't functioning properly.

Possible issue with the cold start button itself?  Some other known issue?

Pull cabe covers & inspect cables…for sticking and/ or plunger for sticking, maybe some lube will help…around the 100hr mark the cables start getting worn out & stick…In my experience….probably best to use the cold start occasionally to keep it moving… I have also mistakenly adjusted my cables to the point where the cold start stopped popping back out…

I'll inspect the plunger more closely.  I replaced the cables with a new set from Motion Pro (feels nice).

Try adjusting the clicks to your yellow screw maybe. If it’s not set right it may not be disengaging?

I have a 16 350 that's the same way. Tried disassembling the plunger assy as far as I could, spray lube, but was never able to get it to click off completely with the throttle. I think they must wear internally and develop a steeper ramp for the detent to click past, or something. Unfortunately I wasnt able to disassemble mine completely to the point where I could re-shape the ramp. Didn't want to risk breaking it trying to get it the rest of the way apart, so I just reach in and click it off by hand. Too cheap to buy a replacement.

Similar question, the manual states a TPS voltage to set the cold start "clicks" to after setting the idle. Without the TPS tool, could anyone who has a properly adjusted cold start provide the RPM's it is set to when pushed in? (250f)

Same thing happened with my cold start button after replacing oem throttle cables. It’s just the adjustment of everything that made the difference. I had these videos in my YouTube history and just don’t remember which one gave me the sauce I needed but it should help. Once I adjusted it better the button worked and I could roll the throttle forward to kick it back out
