Have a cool idea I dont think I've seen.

Looking for a company or person that does custom pit mats, lettering for names, brand of bike, sponsors, etc. BUT, looking to see if theres a way to incorporate plastic toy MX ramps/tracks around the edge of it. Sounds like a cool idea while dad is working on the bike to have his son playing around the edge of the mat. Curious if anyone has experience is making custom bike mats and thinks its possible.

Either way, I want to get my nephew a pit mat with his name on it, the ability to have the track around the edge and be able to change the setup is a bonus and a great business idea. Any advise helps, thanks!

Sounds like a great way to step on jr’s little hands and make bike work more stressful.

Motorcyclemat.com. Sorry not the best pic but MPM  will design anything you come up with and send you a free proof before making your mat. They had no problems with me making a couple of revisions to the design. I also had one made for my Triumph Thruxton . They are easy to work via email with and once we agreed on the design it was remarkable how fast they shipped it to me.

You missed where he thinks it would be a good idea for little Johnny to be playing inches away from the bike while you work on it. Not to also figure out how to get the bike over top of the 3 dimensional race track he wants around the outside of the mat. Assuming OP doesn't have any kids or he would realize you don't want them that close while working on the bike. Getting them a play mat for other side of garage is understandable.

I would recommend a separate supercross mat you can put anywhere. Have a mat that looks like a stadium then have a kit with all the obstacles and let him design the track.

You could back up and create a new definition for a triple jump.

I have just started doing my own version of pit/garage mat. They are just an outdoor style mat, custom printed. The one i have here is the smaller size but possibly the only way i see of adding any 3D style ramps is to go the bigger version, possibly add some heavy duty velcro strips to the base of the plastic style jumps/ramps that I have seen around, That way they are moveable. I just tried some velcro stip and it sticks pretty good to the 100% polyester chenille material this is made from. I like the idea, just not 100% sure on how you would go about it with wanting to still use as a garage mat also. Its like its one or the other. Link below, fully customisable, printed in the USA.
