I saw Walls of Jericho years ago open for Between the Buried and Me and was pleasantly surprised, they killed and the crowd was going insane.

Christina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil has always been my #1, great live performer as well. The chick from In This Moment is super hot with big cans but they are terrible live, possibly the worst show I've ever seen.

Ever seen a power metal band use an electric upright cello? Here you go!

Saw Jinjer listed a couple times. Awesome band and they've been in my regular rotation for a few years now.

I also saw Huntress mentioned, but no video... So I'll share here. Not necessarily a favorite of mine, but caught them live some years back when they opened for Lamb of God and Killswitch Engage. Awesome show! RIP Jill Janus:

Looks like a couple of new tunes were posted last week,
Both bands rebounding from lineup changes,

Corey Parks (from Nashville Pussy) in Die Hunns. Was married to Duane Peters for a minute.

RIP Kim Shattuck from the Muffs. She was pretty rad, met her a few times when I was a young’n. Also, the chick singing in Lori Myers (NOFX)

Well, you can't leave out Kiss Me Deadly ... which I always thought was the better song. Killer metal-pop tune.

(And the '55 film was def one of the most wack films ever made!)

Was a local band that should have been bigger. Leah Kirby is a badass!

Album drops Friday 6/11/21. The three songs released thus far are all pretty solid.
