The year was 1990 and I was a 9 year-old boy SOLID HOT PINK MSRacing pants with white lettering and a white matching jersey with pink and black accents. I had been to a race in Oklahoma City at an amazing facility named "Strictly Dirt" to contest in the 65cc Open class. Anyhow, a big purse one weekend attracted the likes of Grayson Goodman himself. I followed his every move throughout the day and that's when I saw the back of his pants said, in big bold white letters, "FASTBONE". I knew right then and there what I was gonna have put on the back of my pants. I hadn't then, nor do I have now, a complete understanding of what it ever meant but I loved it just the same.
A common theme I've picked up on at this site is how people love to live in the past. As many of you know, I'm not a big fan of yesterday. I love listening to Elvis and Mystery Train and all those old albums but it gets really repetitive and irritating how this demographic prefers to dwell on the past.
PS: My butt patch said "Kardy", sort of a knock-off of "Wardy", who's photos held the greatest amount of real estate on my bedroom walls. I switched to Sinisalo when I moved to 125's...
