Yea I guess so… I would have thought a better strategy is to make a boot people would actually want to buy? But I’m old & out of touch. Kids will probably be lining up for these if they sell them.

I think kids would be lining up to buy them even without Haiden. Stuff like Ed Hardy and big rhinestone/bedazzled shit is coming back in style.

Niche question but what is the criteria for some red bull logos having that huge ugly blue square behind it? I noted today that Prado's fox gear had the big blue square and AP's does not in these photos. Obviously, if the colors are not contrasted enough they want some backing to make it pop but is there anything more to it?

Redbull I believe have to sign off and approve of their logo placement/design.

They probably want their logo to stand out and as title sponsors. We all know how strict redbull is with marketing and logo designs. (Redbull helmets and athlete only apparel)

You are spot on, it’s the contrast factor (same for the black field behind Monster’s M-Claw). What’s funny is, as their primary sponsor for racing ($$$) KTM is super strict about this rule, whereas when we deal with the RedBull guys directly, they’re pretty chill 😂
