I found this super clean 90 and had to buy it. Have 2 sets of plastics but been running the 91 shrouds and seat to save wear on the 90 stuff.  Had one and sold it 31 years ago...this one wont be goin anywhere.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me what part number takasago excel wheel goes on the front with stock hubs?  I have saw many pics of  89 and 90s with those wheels but they do not list any that fit in the application guide,

Also want to mention the front forks are fantastic! Never would have believed the 45mm showas could be this good! The one thing I remember from my old one was how terrible the forks were.   This one is revalved with gold valves and it is super plush.  In fact my friend races a 2020 yz250 with revalved suspension for woods and says it is at least as good as his bike for ttight woods riding.  I was planning on doing a fork swap but these saitisfy me for now.

Thanks!20250928 134636.jpg?VersionId=CkJ1Ivg9lE5Dsoxhr8h50hcen1

Thanks!  It is super clean so I ride it carefully...

It had a NOS oem pipe but that didnt get any rides before I took it off. Do not wanna take a chance on hurting that pipe as it is perfect.

I am still blown away by how plush that front suspension feels.  The guy I bought it from was about 40 pounds lighter and had it set up for vet MX. I backed the clickers out a few and it works fantastic.  I am within range for the front spring but it needs the next heavier rear, so that is on order.

I am sending the cylinder and head to Tom Morgan for a port job to get a few more HP just because....lol

Thanks a really nice bike, congrats.

I recently had TCR in Lodi CA. build a rear 19" wheel for my '89 CR250, I went with 19" because I was building a factory look inspired bike, the part number for that rim was GES411 and I had a front built by them last year for my 92 CR125 and that was ICS408. If you are going with the OG 18" I cant help you there but I'm pretty sure that I was told at the time that rims for Honda's from back then are the same fitment as new ones today.

I hope that helps but you can call TCR at (209) 368-9800 they were a ton of help and will know for sure.
