Bryce is a hard worker and had some sucess as an amateur. He's been on Yamaha for as long as I can remember. Glad he found something. Best of luck to him.

Look, you already posted your "God Squad?" message earlier, and now this.

They have a right to believe in what they want. You have at least a partial right to post dumb stuff on the Internet.

I'd say those easily cancel each other out.

It's not "dumb"

I was just asking if they are the dudes who are trying to convert us? Why is that dumb? Just because it might offend you, it's stupid?

Why is it ok for people to swear on this site, but they can't write "god squad"? Why is it that people can bash political things, and Allah, but not God? hmmmm?

Don't I have a right to believe in Buddah?

You can believe in the flying spaghetti monster, wear a tinfoil hat, and think UFOs are landing any day now, and I'd probably defend your right to do so.

I happen to think it's dumb when people start pointing out that someone is sponsored by a company (Truth Soul Armor) that has some religious meaning behind it, and immediately assuming that they're coming to convert you. You can buy into their message...or not. It's up to the individual.

You can ask anyone who plays in the Non-Moto room. I trash plenty of messages that have to do with religion and politics. I generally think they make pretty crappy (and divisive) topics on what's supposed to be a moto board.

I think it's dumb if you don't think they are trying to convert you! That's their reason for being the company they are!

As a matter of fact, I do believe in the spaghetti monster, LOL!

And....Ben Evans kills it! I hope he can show what he's made of this year. He seems to be a great kid and works just as hard as anyone out there.

that is the most ignorant statement. you think a clothing company that is sponsoring a motocross team, and bringing in money for more riders to have rides, is secretly trying to convert you?

Nope, not secretly, rather wide open! What do you think Truth stands for? What do you think the cross in their logo stands for? They are trying to promote Christ and their Truth, they sell t-shirts pumping Christ. Sponsors are there for a reason: to promote their wares, ummmm, duh? Let's get past this part, and move on to the riders, ok?

Of course! The meaning of sponsorship is to sell a product or "learn" people to recognise a "product", get used to a certain brand etc. In my world is God a "product" as much as any. A lot of people earning loads of money on God as a selling product. 99.999 is swindlers of course because have you ever seen God participating on Tv-priests show? This is of course my own opinion! I have really good friends who enjoy and feel good about the church-thing. If so, "He" (?) is real for them but not my cop of tea.

God... Dog... I don't give a damn how it's spelled or what it symbolizes as long as I don't have to pay extra for the team and someone out there is creating more jobs within the sport. If they're doing a above par good job they will succeed and if not they will be gone like many other previous small outfit teams. I welcome them while they last, however long that may be. I need more Kawasaki teams to cheer for anyway. There will always be someone who can identify with and want to be apart of any team; sponsors included.

Lets please move past this "God" thing debate and focus on the good stuff happening here. It's about the new team and it's riders. I wish them all good luck! It's a great thing to see new sponsors coming into the mix....no matter where they are from.

If you think that the sole reason behind Truth Soul Armor is to convert non-believers then you are walking in the dark my friend.... Truth's goal is to produce clothing and a brand/image that gives God the glory by revealing His Truth! People just love to hate on Christians for reasons that are beyond me. A common misconception is that Christians look down upon non-believers, but the Truth is that Christians who live as Christ has called them to love everyone. Biblically here we see Jesus say, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
—John 13:34-35. It doesn't say "only love Christians", but rather "Love one another" which includes EVERYONE!!

Ben and Bryce are awesome guys! They wear their faith on the outside because Christ is radiating from the inside. They just want to race, and i assure you that you will feel more welcomed by them than if you went over to the _____ energy rig. So I invite you to come over and introduce yourself to anyone at the Truth pit area. You may be surprised in what you find.

PUMPED !!!!

Also, downandup no one can "convert" you, faith is 100% up to the individual. You can breath easy and thank God for the freewill he gave you to choose or reject him. Just saying. =)

Either way, I am pumped on the news. Looking forward to full details coming out on this =)

Peace,
Scott

and just out of curiosity, what would the reaction be if the team wasn't Christian, but was Muslim?

"Their goal is to produce clothing and a brand/image that gives Allah the glory by revealing His Truth!"

How would that go over on here and elsewhere?

Just asking....

Never heard of this company but they just earned by business.
I think I will buy one of these flannel shirts they sell.

Its the perfect shirt to wear while I am out converting people!

I'm so down with this program but as someone who has a huge interest in Christianity and culture it's not Jesus who people look down upon but those who say they follow him. The hypocrisy in the american churches is rampant and people are simply tired of it. Sad

As someone who has seen the biz plan behind this I think there is going to be a huge opportunity to show the love of Christ not so much with words but with action, which is the excitement behind this.

In the mean time let's be happy someone (Truth) is stepping up financially because they believe in the sport enough to bring some more riders to the races.

Now instead of bashing the easy target Christians, why not talk about the inability for teams to market themselves and sell their own branding at the races. Perhaps if they could then the sport will attract more outside sponsors willing to invest $$. Emotional purchasing at events, would insure some sort of return on investment instead of randomly throwing cash at the gamble of market branding Wassat

I am not "down" on Christianity at all...........

But hey, here's hypocrisy at it's finest right here: zc35 writes "A common misconception is that Christians look down upon non-believers, but the Truth is that Christians who live as Christ has called them to love everyone."

And then writes "They just want to race, and i assure you that you will feel more welcomed by them than if you went over to the _____ energy rig."

Not snubbing your good hearted nose at any team in particular, are you now? Who is calling whom nicer?
