No I don’t think they will come around on the other shit and I don’t think he’s coming around on this. You’re giving him too much credit.
It’s just a strategic reframing to make his end goal of removing 3/4’s of the world’s population from existence more palatable to the type of people he’s trying to remove from existence.
Have you heard the founder of "The Weather Channel" debunking it?
It's hilarious. He beats up the current owner of the Channel pretty badly.
Gary Coleman. I loved that guy. He was our local tv channel weather guy. KUUUUUUUUUUUUUSI
They tried to decredential him for questioning the narrative.
He tells the guy "You are a business man, I am a scientist!" Something like that.

I don’t trust Bill Gates as far as I can throw him. Make that half as far as I can throw him. cheesehead is right about Gates’ desire to severely thin the herd on the planet. He is no humanitarian, just ask the people of Africa. If you’re into globalism and one world governance, you’d probably like him but I’m not in that club and I have no use for him.

Oh God!!!
Don't you guys see????...We ONLY have 5 years left!!!! Before it is too late!!!!
Remember this scare tactic? https://press.un.org/en/2019/ga12131.doc.htm
He should focus on getting Windows right...
He stills thinks climate change is major problem. As well as poverty and diseases. He therefore strongly critizes cuts to USAID. Is this really YOUR SIDE or did you just read the headlines?
Very much some needed direction from a very smart man to bring activists in line with actual desired and achievable outcomes. It's worth reading Bill Gates' own words and not relying on an abridged interpretation of it by some talking heads.

He doesn't have to agree with me on everything, but it's a start and I'll take the win. I could care less about "did you read page 52, paragraph 7, line 3" get a life people. This was a huge change of direction from one of the biggest funders of the hoax. Global warming will not end humanity.
I find it interesting that the tech community is now behind nuclear energy in the form of small modular reactors to fill the need to power data centers/AI, whatever you want to call it.
Amazon and X-Energy are going to build 12 of them across the river from me. And I detest how in this article it says when completed it will power 700,000 homes. Why don't they just say how many data centers they will power? https://keprtv.com/news/local/energy-northwest-unveils-cascade-advanced-energy-facility-plans
Oh well, I like Nuclear energy. Should provide some well paying jobs to my area. But what will Hanford hating techies from Seattle think? From the link:
"Energy Northwest has announced the official name for its upcoming project, the Cascade Advanced Energy Facility, in collaboration with Amazon and X-energy. The project will see the construction of 12 modular nuclear reactors north of the Tri-Cities. Energy Northwest is currently focused on the first phase, which involves building four of the planned 12 reactors. These reactors, designed by X-energy and known as the XE-100, are smaller than contemporary counterparts and use gas coolant instead of water, operating at high temperatures. The facility is expected to eventually generate a gigawatt of power, enough to supply approximately 700,000 homes..."
The folks who complain about the effects of Hanford have a good point, but our knowledge of the subject is quite a bit more advanced than it was when Hanford was began and I think that there has to be some better thought about what to do with the waste generated from the newer design reactors.
I hope, anyway.
Have you been following the fusion reactor proposed for the Malaga area just south of Wenatchee?
No I haven't but it seems like in the blink of an eye all this power generation is being proposed. Add in all the wind turbines they want to put in the hills south of me and the proposed solar farm they want to put in on the south edge of Hanford...that's a lot of power generating sources being proposed.
I'm not surprised by where they are proposing these things as they are near existing power lines from the dams or the nuc plant already at Hanford.
Here is a 5 billion dollar data center they are proposing just east of me. I wonder if the "unnamed" tech company is Amazon? I wasn't aware of it but they erected something in Hermiston just down river from this proposed build as recently they ran afoul of some environmental rules. Amazon also has 2 humongous warehouses they built during covid in Pasco with only one of them operating.
https://www.tricitiesbusinessnews.com/articles/wallula-data-center
" A large American technology company wants to build a data center campus in Wallula – a project that would drive hundreds of jobs and nearly $5 billion in private capital investment in the area..."
Yeah, MS went crazy up in the Wenatchee Valley with a couple of data centers in East Wenatchee (near the airport), and several in Malaga (just south of Wenatchee on the way to the old Alcoa plant). Each data center was supposed to be about $500M, but that's probably went up a bit now. The crazy part is that MS didn't get to purchase the local hydro power at the reduced rate like most businesses, they have to purchase the power at 'market rates' (although they did just do a long-term purchase agreement with Chelan County PUD). The big draw for them was that the local PUD had invested heavily in overbuilding their infrastructure, so the actual transmission of the power wasn't much of a stretch for them. They've actually paid themselves for any upgrades needed, including full water system upgrade to the tune of $53M that will also serve local growth in the area. When the data centers are built out, MS will pay more than the next 50 property taxpayers in each county. I think that they start paying full property tax on the 3rd or 4th server replacement or something like that, so initially it's only the land, building, structures, etc. The actual property inside the buildings won't be fully taxed for the next 5-8 years.
Here's the company that is attempting to build the fusion reactor in Malaga:
