Sounds right but dam that's rough for a top 250 guy.

Thanks Mav. Damn, this sucks but understandable.

I can't blame him, but it still sucks to see.

He's still young, so hopefully they can get to the bottom of the issues, get him healthy again, and we see him return when he's back to 100%.

IMO, he was on track to become a multi-time 450 Canadian champion. It's one guy, but the 250 class just took a big hit. One less championship contender.

Rempel is going to have to make another big step in his riding if he wants to challenge for the championship. The good news is that he'll have a great bike and a teammate he can learn a lot from.

What happened with Jake Piccolo? I remember hearing there were some troubles and more was to come out, but never saw anything. Watched him in the red barn years ago.

I found this in an old Vital post.

He was with another young pro kid at a local gym in British Columbia and I guess the other kid pinched a wallet  and they took off in Jake's truck. cops got them at the local gas station. No charges were filed against Jake. That's what I heard.

Would love to see the series expand to have a supercross race that counts for points at Gopher Dunes in the fall or some other races earlier in the year. 9 races in like 10 weeks feels just pathetic.

Would think more US privateers would head up there, better to battle for 10-15 than not even qualify for US national but guess payout isn’t very good?

The payouts suck, but if they do well they could potentially earn a ride for the following year. Sure, it's not the US, but getting a ride and making money is better than spending money.

I wonder if we’ll see a Ducati in Canada…?

Maybe they could ship a coupl’a 450s to Nova Scotia and entice someone to give it a try…?
