I don't have any updates but maybe someone else will. . You can keep checking their website . Jason told me 2 months ago that they hoped to open in 2 months which would be now, but there is little being done there in the last 2 months.

Steve from Shock Therapy and Scott from Perris both told me that the Elsinore guys can't find anyone to insure them, and that is supposedly the holdup.

Well that sucks. Too bad the release of liability we sign at the gate doesn’t actually release the track of liability when someone gets hurt. It’s essentially a useless piece of paper. Fuck lawyers and double triple fuck the people who’ve sued tracks in the past and put us all in this situation.

I thought AMA was offering insurance for tracks and race organizations. It would not be a bad thing to be required to have an AMA membership to ride at tracks.

The A.M.A. thing only applies to race day events if I am not mistaken.

I look over at Elsinore every time I drive by on I15 and it looks the same every time. Sad face....

Back somewhere about 2000 they had a membership we had to purchase for the year. Like 30 bucks, I think was for insurance purposes.

You would think that the new operators would have gotten this done up front, weird they would pour a bunch of resources into a project without it so did something recently change?

Yes. I think it was for Paris, Lake Elsinore, Star West, and I think El Cajon.

Insurance isn't our issue, thankfully. It's time. Jason and Bryan both have a multitude of other projects going on concurrently, and there are just a few things left - on the infrastructure side - that have to happen before any big, big moves are made. We will be announcing some more limited ride days on the youth, and hopefully vet, tracks for November. Full tilt opening is still TBD, but obviously in the works. Bottom line, we're not going to open until everything is correct from safety, to operations, and everything in between. We want this to be a country club experience from day 1. As such, many changes are in the pipeline with how riding will work at Lake Elsinore, but we'll be getting into all of that soon enough.

May help with acquiring Insurance if you are a member of the track? Side note, if they have a retail shop, maybe they can sell Eks brand goggles to offset the Insurance cost👌…
