BlueLion,

I've finally made a proper start on building up my '76 250 with a '77 kit. (Thank to Holly for sorting one for me!). I noticed in some of the literature I have that it mentions a cylinder head steady. Obviously, the head has the mounting point cast in ready to go.

Was there an "official" Mugen bracket? Or was it left up to the customer to fabricate one? (That is how it comes across from the literature) Have you ever seen one?  Or was it a suggestion that no one ever actually bothered with?

Don't suppose the optional heavy duty gears are easy to find either!?

Stevie

What happened to the Tripes RC250 that Roeder claimed?

It remains in the artist’s rendering phase, as best I can tell,

Do you have a bigger / higher resolution version of this pic?? It's got some really interesting bits on it!

Do you have some more/close-ups of this bike?  Really beautiful and interesting.  I've not seen a "Mugenized" 76 or 77 CR250 before.

No worries. I only ask as there is clearly a head steady on it. Going from the cylinder head to the front down tube.  As a machinist I find all that kinda stuff interesting.

Finding pics of the 76/77 Mugen 250's is hard enough! (Holly has sent me quite a few, but there is maybe 2 on Google!) But that's the only one I've ever seen with that part fitted.
