I wonder what the difference is? I mean seriously I know it's needed and I know it makes a difference or the teams wouldn't do it but what is the actual difference in say seconds? .5, 1, 2 seconds? or is it more confidence in knowing youve done your homework? Just curious what all you hooligans think or know
For someone like K-dub or Dungey that is already familiar with their bike, I wouldn't think they would be making dramatic changes to the chassis & motor. So I would think the adjustments they are making are probably more of a fine tuning type thing which will produce a smaller result in say- lap time. Although to them .2 of a second is huge.
It would be interesting to put a stop watch to it for guys on new bikes from stock to finished testing and for guys on the same bike just making small adjustments.
