You didn’t “back every word with facts” — you slapped your bias onto a video and called it proof. That isn’t evidence, it’s spin. “Campaign rally tone”? That’s just your hatred filtering reality. The truth is simple: Trump showed up to honor Charlie, and you twisted it into another excuse to sneer.

What you’ve really proven is that your obsession with hating Trump is stronger than your basic decency. You’re not exposing hypocrisy — you’re exposing yourself as the guy who mocks a memorial to score political points. That’s not righteous outrage. It’s brain rot on full display.

Honest question, do you see it as respectful to do the following at a memorial

-Have fireworks like a concert is going on

-Have a flyer with pictures of guest speakers and no picture of the person you're supposedly honoring

-Sell merch

-Get up on stage and talk about what you're doing tomorrow (not solving autism)

Every memorial looks different. Some families choose fireworks to celebrate life instead of silence. Flyers often highlight speakers rather than the honoree. Memorial shirts are common, sometimes raising funds for the family or a cause. And yes, speakers sometimes mix in broader messages — that’s not unusual, it’s part of how grief gets expressed.

What’s unusual is someone like you twisting all of that into an excuse to sneer. Those decisions belonged to the people closest to Charlie, not to some anonymous critic on a forum.

You truly believe they need money raised?  After renting out a stadium?   Maybe a better idea would be to give rather than take, like their lord says to. Just my opinion.

You haven’t provided any proof of this hate speech, but you’ve used the idea of this phantom hate speech to justify being hateful yourself. You have imagined the other side is something it isn’t and used that imaginary characterization to justify sacrificing your own morals.

I think the issue is the lefts definition of "hate" relative to the rights definition...

Saying many of the issues negatively affecting black Americans are cultural issues, not societal issues (and not any form of racism), is not hate.  Though the left claims someone who makes that factual statement is hating and a racist.

Saying illegal immigration is an issue, is not racist or hateful...though the left claims it to be.

Calling gender dysmorphia a mental illness, is not hate.  The though left will claim anyone making that factual statement is hating.

Not condoning the teaching of sexuality in elementary schools, or drag queen read-a-thons, or school districts teaching graphic "sex education", is not hate.  Though the left claims that it is.

Refusing to use improper grammar referencing a single individual as "they/them", is not hate...thought the left believes it is.

And it goes on and on...I don't hate anyone...not a single soul on this planet...I have friends that are liberal, LGBTR, minorities, etc. etc....I believe ADULTS can do what they want...but I also believe the majority of issues negatively affecting black Americans are cultural issues, that gender dysmorphia is a mental illness, and sex/sexuality has no place in elementary schools, and "they/them" is multiple people, not one...those adults can't force me to see the world they way they see it, nor can I force them to see it the way that I see it.

Killing someone because you don't agree with the words they say...is hateful though...no doubt about that.

Again, I agree 100% that killing someone who was speaking is not ok, independent of if it was concidered hateful or not.

Supporting bills to not provide care to trans people, saying women shouldn't be in certain positions, the list goes on with why I said "hate".   Also, sex seems to be a big issue and you bring up drag queens. Have drag queens done any shootings or are they hurting people in larger numbers per capita than conservative white men?  I assume you also would hate the bible in school or "forced on kids" since there are adult topics, including sex related passages, in there.

I'm still confused on why most of you say you don't want things "forced on you" but you'll listen to a propaganda machine that spends every day pushing out rhetoric on how you all should feel and view things.

I’m not sure if you pay for your own health insurance. If you do, you may have noticed an increase in your premiums for 2025 around November of last year. This increase was largely in response to the 4th circuit opinion in Kadel v. Folwell. In that case, a transgender person was denied reassignment surgery under his state employer health plan. He sued and claimed that denial of his gender reassignment procedure under his health insurance plan was an equal protection violation. He(she? I don’t even know) won, and insurance companies across the US raised premiums for 2025 in anticipation of paying out more and larger claims to cover gender reassignment surgeries. That case was appealed to the Supreme Court which vacated the judgment and remanded back to the 4th circuit in June of this year following the decision in U.S. v. Skrmetti, but that’s yet to play out in the insurance market.

The point here is that anyone who pays for health insurance now has less take home pay because the insurance companies raised premiums in anticipation of covering gender reassignment surgery claims.

So that brings up the issue of whether being trans is a genuine physical problem or a lifestyle problem. Obviously, things like cancer and kidney disease are physical illnesses that health insurance should cover, but what about a boob job or vaginoplasty? Are those treatments or lifestyle adjustments? I certainly don’t want to pay for strangers’ boob jobs and vaginoplasties, so why should that change just because the person was born without either of those parts to begin with?

Trans issue from my perspective.

I took my friends who flew up from California to a distillery that I did the plumbing at. They asked about my work while we were in Seattle and, I figured I’d show them since the place was close.

The owner recognized me right away, happily greeted me and, my friends. They ordered their drinks and, we sat down. After a few minutes I glanced over at my buddy and, he says, what the fuck. At the bar was a trans male that looked like a body builder.  I asked my friend what happened. That mother fucker just winked at me. Now, the tranny comes over to the table all sassy and shit then says, one of you wanna buy a girl a drink.

We all lean back in our seats, give the nod to each other, stand up and, all wave to the owner then, walk out. Top it off with the tranny now yelling, homophobes.

Now, the old me would’ve jumped across the table and, ripped the wig off that individual. We’re in a straight bar. Minding our own business. The people I was with, aren’t ones to play with that shit.

The problem I have is, if that’s how you roll, stay in your fucking lane. I thought they had those types of bars to meet likeminded people. It almost feels like a set up. So, when they set you off, you’re also charged with a hate crime while they play the victim.

You were born a male. Aftermarket parts will never change that regardless of how many surgeries you’ve had. Those surgeries do not make you a woman. Me not being attracted to a male with tits and a wig doesn’t make me phobic or, a purveyor of hate. I’m just staying in my lane.

You think you’re a girl. Great.  Just stay in your fucking lane and, quit forcing your new identity on people.

None of the points I mentioned are “rhetoric” and none of them were “pushed” on me by the “propaganda machine”…good grief…they are common sense! It doesn’t take anything but basic observation skills to look at those issues and draw those same conclusions.

My gay friend said the recent surge in tranny's during the last 5-10 years are just all attention whores and they are giving gays a bad name.  He's ashamed of these freaks ruining it for people who are truly gay.  I guess nowadays when kids don't fit in they start identifying themselves as something else to get attention and feel like they are part of a bigger group.  Makes sense and I feel bad for the truly gay people out there who just want to live their private lives without any entitlement, 3rd bathrooms, furries, and rainbow hair.

It's just like BLM giving blacks a bad reputation.  My black friends (hard working professionals) are disgusted with the BLM movement.  They call them two names, thugs and ..........

I guess it's kind of like what we would refer to as white trash, meth heads, or skinheads in the caucasian sector.

I had a guy argue with me that it’s bigotry if a guy who’s dating isn’t open to dating a trans woman. He said that it’s no different than refusing to date someone of a different race. He was dead serious, much to my amazement. I thought it was the stupidest thing I’d ever heard. Neither is bigotry because nobody has to date anyone and nobody is entitled to anyone’s affection. Since when do we have to justify our choices regarding who we’re attracted to? It’s absurd. Besides, It’s not really a choice (which is what the gay community has been saying for decades). If you’re not attracted to someone you can’t, by sheer force of will, change that, nor does it make sense to want to. Oh, now you have to force yourself to like the 300 pound transsexual who likes you -  you don’t want to be a hateful bigot now, do you? This is wokeness on steroids. Sometimes  I feel like I must have hit my head and woke up in an alternate universe.

The vast majority of it is attention seeking. In the 80s, I grew my hair, listened to metal, and wore Iron Maiden shirts. My parents hated it and I liked that. My wife had a Mohawk, listened to Dead Kennedys, and wore combat boots. Now nobody cares about that so they identify as a cat. But the parents don’t say “what the hell is wrong with you? Stop that!”  Instead they say “I love you just as much if you’re a.cat”. What the hell is a kid supposed to do to feel rebellious? The poor kids are lost in a world where nobody has the balls to push back and straighten the little shits out when they need it so they’re messed up and dysfunctional and nobody wants to admit it.

My father in law is gay…he and his husband both think that this transgender explosion, gender fluidity, and the flamboyant nonsense (drag, half naked men and women, etc.) in pride parades is nothing but a cry for attention…he doesn’t buy it as “born that way” (with some rare exceptions).  All this gender fluid, trans, stuff is largely just a social fad at best and a mental illness at worst.  Society embracing this nonsense is doing far more harm than good.

I’d never treat someone differently just because they are trans or gender fluid…neither would I never support removing rights from them, or restricting them in any way…but I also won’t accept it as normal.  Keep it out of schools, keep it out of government budgets, and they can do their thing I’m happy if they are happy…

I’m 61 and bought a Maiden t-shirt last weekend. You know the one: caricature of Steve Harris in full attack position with Eddie’s head superimposed.  Over time I left most metal behind, but Iron Maiden just hits different.

Back to your point:  the vast majority of trans claims are transactional and not life-changes. As noted, it’s the trend de jour among kids looking for some verification. Not worth fretting about, really.

So this where I get confused by all this trans shit. Using motorcycle terms. For example:

Cant put red plastics on a yamaha and claim it to be a Honda.

Cant put blue plastics on a Honda and make it a Yammie.

Yet can shoe-horn a CR500 motor in a 250 chassis and call it a 500? Hell, any motor/chassis swap. What the fuck is it? Is it a KX 500 motor in a KTM chassis or is it a chick with a dick? Confused by it all.

You know exactly what it is. You’re only blinded due to decades of programming, but deep down you know there’s nothing confusing about it.

My response to your friend would’ve been, I’m expected to respect that a person is wired to be attracted to certain individuals seems like a double standard.  I am also wired in such a way that I’m only attracted to certain group of individuals being, persons capable of giving me children. Why can’t that be respected?

The thing about Maiden is parents and preachers judged them by the album covers but they didn’t listen to the music so as a kid I felt like I knew something they didn’t: That the music was excellent and the devil worship stuff was bs. And I was right!

My response is more just saying I don’t need a reason to not date someone and it’s absurd to expect me to need one. If I’m not interested for any reason whatsoever then that’s the end of it. A polite “no thanks” is the most anyone should expect and just leave it at that.

It’s not a big deal. I just know that person didn’t realize how fast things could’ve gone from zero to 100 while playing antagonist.

And it would have been labeled a hate crime even though it was entirely avoidable had they just been remotely socialized. Instead they’re completely unfit for society and would somehow make you out to be the aggressor and the danger

If this was addressed to me, I'm not sure you'll believe any points I respond with anyway.  It's all crazy to me, I am fine if you don't agree with that.  I brought up a few things previously and the response was that it was all out of context.  From my point of view and from what I've seen/heard, TP usa and right-wing organizations in general do hate on people of color, gays, trans and women.

I believe religion should be left out of school. Not all children share the same heritage or, religion.

I believe this is where the problems have arose. Once we declared war on Christianity and declared America and white europeoons as the root of all evil and the country itself inherently racist , we lost all shared values, we lost all idea of unity.

we cannot agree on basic values that we once agreed on for our entire existence, we cannot agree on anything/

It wasn’t long ago you could trust people to pump their gas first, and pay once the total came. Now you have to lock deodorant up entirely. How did this sense of morality disappear? What’s changed?

Perfect example is the woman on the train getting stabbed and nobody protecting her. Once we cannot on shared values, once we don’t believe America is worth protecting, once women are taught to hate men, race to hate race, left to hate right, once the shared values disappear, you get the train situation.

so I ask , what’s changed since the days when you could pump gas first and be trusted to pay after here in America?
