I’d send Marchbanks and RJ. With Eli of course. Garret’s ability to pass would be good against 450s.

RJ on the 450 and JCoop on the little bike would make the most sense.

Or put Eli on the 250 and watch magic happen!

Nah, he struggles enough with his starts.

RJ has been solid on the 450 and should stay there. If they put him on a 250 again the chances is big that he crashes his brains out again while over riding it.

JCoop is a lighter rider, more calculated and a better starter. That’s something that is needed on a 250 for this event. And the 250 JCoop could ride is a better bike than RJ’s.

I think that the best case scenario result would be around the same position for both of them if they rode a 250, but the worst case would be a lower position for RJ since he often gets worse starts and have a tendency to tip over.

With the current events and status on riders team USA will probably have to rely on consistency this year instead of top level speed that it looked that they might have when the team was picked.

JCoop, if he’s willing.

I reckon Deeg's collarbone ISN'T broken. But they (Deegs/Star) will report that it is. He'll undergo 'surgery' today. Then on the 5th October he won't win. And there is the excuse they've been looking for. He can't simply decline the MXoN seat a third time. He HAS to represent. But he didn't want to, in case he lost & losing on home soil will be humiliating.

KDub's been railing corners down at Farm 14 in sneakers & a backwards baseball cap. Someone needs to call Pastrana & Sipes to get the band back together

That would be the next best team given the situation imo.

Still podium potential, but it's MXdN where anything can and will happen.

I couldn’t find a rider, mechanic, or industry person in the pits that didn’t cringe at this idea. I like Levi, but he’s been far to up and down this year to justify that. Especially in Pro Motocross.

Doesnt really matter as Australia has this in the bag. LOL

They could have a kangaroo for MX2 and still win handily

SMX gimmick just put a downer on the best weekend of the year. Hope for USA's sake that Sexton can be fit

This could get spicy. I’m really excited for this team.

ET Mx1, RJ Mx2, JCoop Mx3. Sexton is out, too.

Deegan will probably be good to go with a plate, but who knows? Brian "Big picture, learning opportunity" Deegan may keep him out.

Judging by Lewis's post race interviews this sound like the most likely scenario.

I would flip RJ and JCoop.  RJ is a completely different rider on a 450 and we’ve all seen what JCoop can do on a 250 at MXoN.  Play to their strengths.

That is what is sounded like, J-coop on the 250, I just read the post above wrong, I still think of Open class and forget it's called mx3 now.

Got it…. Let’s hope they accept.  I don’t know why they wouldn’t, both are still in full race mode.

It’s Open class, not MX3
