If I’m Star Yamaha and I have 5 bikes ahead of Deegan and the math says we need one more point in order to have a significantly better chance at the SMX title next weekend, I’m telling Anstie or Bennick to pull in and ‘Let Deegs Bye’. They aren’t in title contention at all, not even in the Top 10. 100% I’m doing that.
If I’m the rider your sign better say we will pay the difference for finishing worse in SMX lol
Guarantee Bobby would stroke that check!
Because with the screwball gimmick points structure they probably did not know what math to do.
Time will tell to see if pulling one of their riders would have made a difference in the final points. Although not a popular move, it could have been done.
